Today I take you on a tour of the Carousel Oceanfront Resort and Condominiums Hotel in Ocean City, Maryland. Overall, it's a really nice hotel with a lot of fun things to do and nice amenities. I'd give it a 4.5/5 star rating, just because of some minor cleanliness problems, and how the building is set up. Otherwise, our stay was great! (We stayed in a "Standard Oceanfront Room"). I just stayed there for a week on the 19th floor in a condo. You have a bay view on one side and an ocean view on the other. Watching the sunrises and sunsets are amazing. I loved it, and will definitely book it again in 2023. I recommend going to secrets for a sunset dinner and live music, and fish tale's sunset cruise.
I stayed there in the 70's and early 80's. Back then this hotel was the nicest hotel in OC.. Almost close down in the 90's due bankruptcy and change of ownership. The hotel and Condos are 50 years old. Other than the outdoor pool which was put in a few years ago, everything is pretty much the same I remember it. Lots of good memories of the Carousel from my youth. Good Times!

My family went there every year for 2 weeks in July from 1977 to 1982. We lived in Pittsburgh at the time. I was 15 in 1979 and had my first kiss on the beach with a very cute girl frim Baltimore ❤ It looks like it still has that 70s vibe😂
Same here. We also stayed there from 77-82. I was 8 in 79, so no kiss on the beach. They didn't have an outdoor pool. But they had a bar shaped like a carousel where the small eatery is today. And it will always have a 70's vibe!

Heads up the balconies in the big tower ARE NOT public they are for use of the condo owners/renters

It was a Sheraton and then became the Clarion. Now it's called the Vibe I think. Dr. Berger sold the place last year.

I don’t believe this is a timeshare and I’ve never reviewed one. I recommend the Hilton or holiday inn a few blocks down from this

The ocean front part was built in the late 60's. And the tower was built in the early 70's It is outdated compared to the newer hotels today. I stayed there back in the late 70's and early 80's. I personally would pick a more modern hotel today.
