Great video as always but as for the phones , they don't really scream buy me . I think all mobile phones offer nearly the same stuff , maybe a new matrix movie needed, remember Nokia lol
I'm still unsure of the 10 or 10+. Can you just list the most important differences between the two? I understand if that's too much to ask. I really was listening, lol. It's just that I might need it simplified. Some of it is a bit over my head.

Tech With Brett I would have loved to see the Memory Card Slot & the Time of Flight sensor on the smaller more portable Note 10...and don’t tell Samsung...but I’d have paid more for the smaller form factor Note if it had at least the TOF sensor ;p

Extremely informative and in depth comparison video. Great job Brett! I have the Note 9 512 version. I'll pass on this just because they removed the headphone plug even though I use Bluetooth ear buds it's always nice to have the option. And I remember Samsung making commercials and video's of them making fun of apple for removing the headphone plug. And they go ahead and do the same. Just stupid.

I'm upgrading to the Note 10+ from the Note 3. As you can see, I hang on to my stuff until I absolutely need to replace it (my Note 3 now runs like it's on dial-up connection). Well, since I plan on sticking with the Note 10+ until it's wheels fall off - I'm contemplating on getting the more expensive Note 10+ 5G so that I will already have the 5G capability whenever it is up and running. Any thoughts? Do you think 5G will be the standard in the next couple of years?
If you upgrade very little I definitely think that is a great option for you. I think it will become more and more popular over the next few years and it would be nice to have a phone that supports it.
I pre-ordered note10+ by trade in note9 because the economic: $1100-$600-$150-$50 =$300. 600 from Samsung trade in,150 from pre-order credit, 50 from pre-pre-order( yes it was really pre pre-order, if reserve the note10+ before unpack event). So the question is for $300, is the upgrade worth? Well, better display, better battery, better s pen, better camera, especially the wide angle/3D both lens .... The list goes on .... Power bottom replacement (rest to power on/ off), from lock ( much convenient), yes, faster processor, more RAM and storage 256, fast charge the phone, connect to PC directly to interface Windows ( files and window-in-window) , video editor on the phone, none of those on the my note9. Same physically size, but lighter weight. yes you tell me

The Note 10 screen looked beautiful with it's 1080p screen. I didn't have time to investigate and pixel peep much but I think it is still a great display. At times K have kept my Note9 at 1080 resolution anyway to save battery and it still looked really good.

I was really glad to see the White return but I ended up going with the Aura Glow just because it is so new. The White showed 0 fingerprints but the Glow showed a ton.

I love my Note 9 but after owning it for almost a year it’s just too big for me. I use the S-pen a lot and I am glad there is now a smaller note 10, I can’t wait to get my hands on it

I feel like people are exaggerating the gestures for the pen. I don't think you need to swipe so far and wide for it to work. Think a small swipe would be sufficient.

That's sad. If I had to pick a phone right now it would HANDS DOWN be The Asus ROG gaming phone 2. BLOWS the Note clear out of the water. Probably less expensive too.
Hi there! Its an awesome video. But i still have a question... whats exactky the difference using the TOF sensor on 10+? I mean... does the note 10 can capture focus video or not?
If the note 10 can do live focus video it won't be as sharp as on note 10+. ToF is basically hardware that maps the object in a 3D space. Also allows for scanning object into the camera in 3D to th n out into a photo or video. Pretty neat feature Actually. Can't wait to try it out.
Instead of just reading off spec sheets, please add more commentary and analysis. Also, the first Galaxy Note had a 5.3 inch screen which is much smaller than the Note 10 contrary to your claims that the Note 10 is one of the smallest notes ever.

As a Note user how much are you using the S Pen? If it is not that much the Pixel 4 might be something to wait for bit if you phone is running fine you might even just wait till next year.

Lol I was thinking the same but they're offering $600 trade in for the note 9. So that brings down the note 10 to $500. So next year they'll offer $600 trade in offer for the note 11 so it'll cost $400.... BTW I bought the note 9 for $800 during black Friday so with a $600 trade in I only lost $200 but I'm only paying $500 instead of 1,100.

Smartphones have reached a point where there are so many features availability it is moving to a longevity game. I have hear many talk about how they will be keep the Note9 for awhile because of how solid of a device it is.
It most likely will work on the screen but not the air actions. I wasn't able to test to see if it will fit in an old device because it has a new design.
Yes it would because the Note9 is 1440 and the 10 is 1080 but this is only if you are looking really close. From a normal distance it is not too noticable.
Apparently me.... I am just about full on my Note 9. I just started doing 4K video and it takes up a ton of space! As long as it doesn't bump up the cost I think it's great the come with plenty of space.
It use to be no doubt, but soon as the Asus Rog phone 2 is released it will be number 2. Most of the note 10 features will be brought to the note 9 with software updates in the future when the hype is over

Hey Heidi! The only thing is the 5G version has has the necessary cellular bands to connect with the 5G network the is being built by Verizon but currently only in select cities. SLC will get it this fall but not sure how far that spreads. It also costs a lot more! For now I would stick with the Note10+ as 5G network still has has quite a bit of work to do to be really useful.
I'm picking up my pair soon for workouts, but I love using my wired headphones for long trips, especially when I'm flying. Hopefully the S models keep them.🤞🤞

It definitely is. Since getting the Galaxy Buds I have never had to use it. It will come with USB-C Powered headphones in the box

I'm actually embarrassed for the people who think this New Note is Good. It's an EPIC failure on the Part of Samsung. LOVE The Note 9. The features they got rid of to add a Magic Wand and other USELESS tech is Absolutely comical
It's still a good phone regardless of the features removed. But, only time will tell how well it sells

That's sad. If I had to pick a phone right now it would HANDS DOWN be The Asus ROG gaming phone 2. BLOWS the Note clear out of the water. Probably less expensive too.
Hi there! Its an awesome video. But i still have a question... whats exactky the difference using the TOF sensor on 10+? I mean... does the note 10 can capture focus video or not?
If the note 10 can do live focus video it won't be as sharp as on note 10+. ToF is basically hardware that maps the object in a 3D space. Also allows for scanning object into the camera in 3D to th n out into a photo or video.

Instead of just reading off spec sheets, please add more commentary and analysis. Also, the first Galaxy Note had a 5.3 inch screen which is much smaller than the Note 10 contrary to your claims that the Note 10 is one of the smallest notes ever.

Lol I was thinking the same but they're offering $600 trade in for the note 9. So that brings down the note 10 to $500. So next year they'll offer $600 trade in offer for the note 11 so it'll cost $400.... BTW I bought the note 9 for $800 during black Friday so with a $600 trade in I only lost $200 but I'm only paying $500 instead of 1,100.

It most likely will work on the screen but not the air actions. I wasn't able to test to see if it will fit in an old device because it has a new design.

Yes it would because the Note9 is 1440 and the 10 is 1080 but this is only if you are looking really close. From a normal distance it is not too noticable.

None of them do. The part at the top or the phone is actually part of the speaker system and not a IR sensor.

Apparently me.... I am just about full on my Note 9. I just started doing 4K video and it takes up a ton of space! As long as it doesn't bump up the cost I think it's great the come with plenty of space.

It use to be no doubt, but soon as the Asus Rog phone 2 is released it will be number 2. Most of the note 10 features will be brought to the note 9 with software updates in the future when the hype is over

Hey Heidi! The only thing is the 5G version has has the necessary cellular bands to connect with the 5G network the is being built by Verizon but currently only in select cities. SLC will get it this fall but not sure how far that spreads. It also costs a lot more! For now I would stick with the Note10+ as 5G network still has has quite a bit of work to do to be really useful.
