Thanks for a great instructional video James. Nicely done and very thorough. So helpful when we can see some of the complications you encountered during install. You're a TRAILBLAZER!🤓
For the front piece I threw an average full bbq propane tank on top and adjusted/tightened the nuts. Go around and re-adjust after a few months....the weather stripping compresses!
Great video bro ! Was wondering if when you ordered the cover did you go with the “pre installed” anchor cleats or chose the loose option ? What is the difference . Was about to purchase but wanted to know the difference before I made it, thank you !
Looks great! The only thing I'm not a fan of is that the cover limits you to only having 1/2 the bed open for taller boxes. But if you don't need that, it's a great cover. For the front, maybe put some weight on the cover to compress the weatherstripping, and then adjust it? That wat it'll be like the rear. Nice video; new subscriber here.
This is very true and took some consideration but I’m adding something in the next video and considering it’s an overland truck I bet you can guess what it is so I wouldn’t be able to really use it anyways. It’s really up to the person everything had its pros and cons. 🤷🏽♂️
@@JamesWilliamsZR2 yep. I ended up getting an Undercover Armorflex for my ZR2. I don't use it open a lot, but at times I need full bed access. The Armorflex is a great cover, I think.

@@scotw67 in all reality if I really needed it fully open I could take it off but would need to be worth it lol
@@JamesWilliamsZR2 plus, you’d be a pro at reinstalling it! 👍🏻
