EMTB ride in Cumbria - May 2024

Here's one of three fantastic descents I did on Thursday. I seem to have turned into an E-biker by mistake. The terrain round here is really tough and the E-bike means I can pack way more into a day than on the normal mountain bike.

how many miles can you do on one battery on that sort of ride?

Oops, sorry...didn't see the question. I've got a 720Wh battery now and I can do a couple of decent loops on one charge. So that's more or less a couple of trips over the top of Helvellyn from Glenridding. I think it's more about how much you climb than how far you go. In Borrowdale I could manage Ashness bridge to Watendlath down to Rothswaite, then up to Honister, climb up to the top and descend Warnscale bottom, back over Honister pass, then take the car to Keswick and have just enough to ride up Skiddaw. Something like that anyway. Cheers!
