  • We have been raising meat birds for a handful of years now. Our first batch ever was 30 freedom ranger chickens which went very well. We've slowly increased our volume every year since then and this year we are scheduled to raise 3 batches totaling 580 birds by the end of the season.
This video is a quick overview of our process when it comes to feeding and moving our chicken tractors. Every year we aim to add what we can budget for to increase our efficiency and make the process as easy as we can. We love raising livestock but we also lead very busy lives including full time jobs and young kiddos that want to be involved in sports. It's all about balance!

My 21 year old thanked me the other day for having her help around the farm. She learned to drive the tractor. Now she can drive stick shifts , forklifts, ships 🚢, ect. All the guys are amazed at how she can drive these machines. It has really given her the knowledge to do many other things.
Keep up the great work with your daughter - the sky is the the limit

Thank you for sharing! That’s amazing! I appreciate the support and kind words.
One of my biggest fears is not preparing my kids properly to survive in the world on their own one day. Hopefully I’m on the right track! 🙏🏻

All in due time, great setup. I’d like to see your setup for your big hoop tractor though.

Thanks! I’ve got some updates I’m in the process of posting now to the big one. Should be uploaded by morning. I plan to do a walkthrough on it as well though in the very near future. 😉

Would love to see a rough sketch of for the larger tractor. That or show what ot looks like on the inside and how it's connected. Tractors this size make more since to me. Please also discuss dimentions as well. Thank you!!!!

You got it! I’ll get a video put together here soon and post it. I’ve got some pics of when I did the build and I’ll talk about where I sourced my parts as well as dimensions. Give me a few weeks and I’ll see what I can do
