I have a 2019 GT PP1 M6 as my 4 season daily driver. I love driving it all the time. Since I started driving 16 years ago, I have always had Camaros/Firebird. The two questions I always got, "Is it a V8?" and "Is it a manual?" Times are changing though, when I tell people that it's a manual the reply I commonly get, "Why?" What the heck!? I finally got my dream car, a manual and a V8 in one car. I either had a manual with V6 or a V8 with an auto. Got made fun for either setup. Who cares what people think honestly, every flick of the shifter makes me happy. If that beast of an auto makes YOU happy don't worry about any crap you get from the car community. Most people who criticize probably only own an Accord. That A10 is a way better transmission that the MT86. I have the same cell phone case BTW.

Every review I've seen on these cars recommends that you get the manual. It's nice to hear from someone that has extensive experience with manual Mustangs say that you have no regrets getting the automatic. Not that I was having regrets, but it helps reaffirm that I didn't make a bad decision by getting an automatic lol.
Bro, manuals are OVERRATED! We all know that an automatic vehicle is easier and smoother to drive. Don’t forget about the 10 speed... you’d smoke a manual trans
@@lockheedload Here's another reason to get the 10 speed. Owners of Ford Mustang and Mustang GTs with the MT82 and MT82-D4 six-speed manual transmission supplied by Getrag have filed a class-action suit against the automaker over issues with that gearbox. The suit details problems with the transmission and states that, "among other problems, the transmission slips, jerks, clashes gears, and harshly engages; has premature internal wear, increased shift efforts, inability to drive, and eventually suffers a catastrophic failure."
I daily drive my '12 mustang. I used to own two cars. A Pontiac Grand Am sedan and my Mustang. Dealing with two cars after many many years just got too much and I decided to sell off my Pontiac.
I have a 2018 PP1 as a daily driver. I'm in Broward county, FL and the traffic is soooooo bad. So bad. Like real bad. I should have gotten the automatic, I'm gonna burn up my clutch in 5-10mph stop and go traffic for an hour every morning rushing hour commute and the same on the way home.
Video request! I'm looking to buy a 2021 mustang gt. One things I can't really see while testing the car is how the ambient lighting is at night. I have seen a few night drive videos, and I know where some of the lights are, but literally no videos on youtube exist showing the feel wells ambient lighting, the color changes, etc.
have the same exact spec out car just with the proper mt82 transmission like a real muscle car should be, i don't have nothing against the auto, i know is faster , more easy to drive in a stop and go traffic and easy to own in a daily day basis, the only thing is just not for me it might be to you but not to me just personal preferences evryone has different opinions and i respect that.
I feel ya! Some people just like to row through gears and that's cool! I think if I ever end up getting another daily driver, some time in the future, when I get the 2030 Mustang GT it'll be manual if they still make them with a manual gearbox lol.
@@JDubTwins you bet man, i think they will still make them that way they can't afford to loose so many costumers loyal to the manual gearbox unless the mustang becomes a super car and the price goes up to $120k but i don't see that coming in the near future who knows maybe but most likely not. congrats in your new whip, its a head turner for sure. more than the ugly camaro.
Honestly I think if I buy the 18 and up Mustang GT it will be with the automatic 10-Speed. And I'm a gear banger from way back. The reason is because Ford actually made the manual worse for 18 and up by switching to the new MT82 with 4th gear 1:1 instead of 5th being 1:1. The manual didn't need taller gears and an extra overdrive. If Ford doesn't put any R&D into new manual transmissions with more gears and better ratios maybe even a power assist manual transmissions will probably be dead in Mustangs within 10 years. :(

Dude finding a car in that trim and color is almost impossible. Grabbed myself a 2021 gt premium PP1 in automatic with the Carbonized metallic grey and cant see anything more perfect for smiles per gallon.
I had heard the Magnaride is not recommended if you plan to drag the car. What is your opinion of the Magnaride? Do you think the car handles just as well with the PP1 without Magnaride?
Love your car bro. I'm currently considering a automatic Mustang loaded like yours with or without PP1 (a blackout package if without PP1). PP1's great but I'm gonna use it 99% for daily driving, also I kind of don't like the wing. Any advice on whether or not to have PP1?
Thanks! Some would say that unless you plan on taking the car to the track to autocross or drag race, you don't need to get the PP1. But in my opinion, there are so many handling performance parts to the PP1 that make canyon/ mountain carving, back road driving, and driving on normal roads so fun and gives you so much more confidence than if you had the stock setup. Granted at the time I got the PP1 it cost $3850, but now it is nearly $5200. I still think it would be worth getting but see if you can test drive a non-PP1 Mustang GT vs a PP1 equipped Mustang GT and see if you can tell a difference. but unless you push it on some back roads (i doubt the salesman would let you do that though lol) it might be hard to tell a difference.
I have a 2020 GT with PP1 and A10. Great car. I would not even consider any other Muscle/Pony car. Love the tires as well. Below 45 degrees tho the tires will generally not heat up enough to give you traction, with summer tires Michelin recommends 45 degrees or above. The tires can crack and chunk rubber off as well below these temps. This is something the daily driver should be aware of.
The PP1 comes with a staggered wheel and tire set up; 255 wide tires on the front and 275 in the rear. The wheels are 9" wide in the front and 9.5" in the rear. You won't be able to rotate the tires because of that. "Rotate" as in, move the rear tires to the front and the front tires to the rear.
Nice, I think the real deciding factor for going with the Mustang or the Tesla is whether you want the Mustang with it's awesome exhaust note and modding options, or the Tesla with it's all wheel drive and tech features. Personally I think canyon carving and mountain driving would be more fun in a N/A V8 vs an electric car lol.
I have the PP1, but I got the black emblems installed aftermarket. I tried to get the blackout package with the PP1 as well when I ordered my car but they won't let you mix and match.
