Clunky 10spd is solved 2 ways, Latest Flash, and limiting to 6 gears around town (using select-shift) . Great feature, trans is awesome under power, unsure with light throttle. Great review Thanks!
Pretty good review man, for that transmission "clunking" issue, might be worth to pay a visit to a Ford Dealer and ask for a PCM reflash/update, that usually does the trick.
Good review. I have the same Mustang GT Premium but a 2022 model. Like he said it's a great daily driver and yes you definitely have to learn how the 10 speed shifts. When you figure it out though boy is it fun. The car is faster than hell, sounds awesome and it turns heads.
Unless you drive very hard or live in stop and go traffic, you should get better than 16 mpg, and if you idle for 10 mins remember thats 0 miles per gallon. 2 mins for warm up is sufficient for all but the coldest mornings. Just take it easy for the first 8 miles till your oil is up to temp. Take your car to the dealer for the transmission, I've have several 10 speeds, they should not do that.
I usually average around 21mpg. The avg shown in the video was from a take after I’ve been doing a lot of spirited driving. Ive tuned my car wince this video and the shaky transmission issues has gone away.
@Jon Soriano good deal. And 21 is usually my number for mostly city with some interstate mixed in. Glad to hear you got the tyranny straight. I picked up a new 22 GT non perf pack, my 7th Mustang I've had. They are very good cars.
I calculated your 260 miles per tank by the 16 gallons the tank holds, and your average mpg is 16.25. That is insane. I had a 2015 Mustang GT Premium (no performance pack) with the 6 speed and I was averaging 27mpg. After upgrading the wheels to a squared stance of 19x10s all around then I started getting about 21mpg. I traded that mustang in for a 2019 Mustang GT PP1, with the 6 speed and 3.73 gears. Just did catless headers, Corsa all the way back, a JLT intake, and tune, and I’m still getting about 20.5mpg at about a mile high elevation. Do you encounter a ton of traffic? Is the 10-speed really that inefficient? Or do you like to drive fast?
I have a 21 GT 10 speed with a little under 10k miles. The computer says I am averaging 14.5 mpg. I drive fast though. I got pulled over 2 times in 3 days. Lol.
Really?! You knew full well what you were getting into, you wanted the car, if you were that worried about fuel mileage you should've got a brz or 370z. Stop the cap!
If I was that worried about gas mileage i wouldnt be running e85 Lol. This video was purely just to provide info to people who dont own this car and are thinking of getting onw
good review man got straight to all the questions we wanted to know keep up the good work
Thanks chief!!

Your right. Great under power, can be clunky driving slow. Doesn't bother me. It's a very good transmission. I was amazed when I first drove it.
I get 16 mpg and about 200 miles per tank before the light comes on. Mine is a 2019 base

Might have to cal my dealer and see if they can check that out. Thanks for the tip!
Anyone figure out what it is?

Thanks man! I was worried it was a bit too long. Glad you liked it.
Appreciate the video bro very realistic review 🙏
Thank you bro!
I feel you on the throttle from 40-60 it’s weird cuz you think your gear is on the fourth one but it’s all the way up😭

Hi Sir, how can I contact with you? I have a few questions.
My 6 spd base s550 might get 230 miles if I am lucky 😆
Whats the beat in the beginning, it's fire 🔥
Its from HomageBeats on youtube. The specific beat is called “Daytrip”. They have some really good copyright free beats!
God that intro music. Lol wtf
