Dark academia has always been my aesthetic, so seeing you all walking around in the rain makes me smile. The houses there are so beautiful. I live a few towns away and can genuinely say Salem is one of my fav places! What a lovely kooky spot. I'd literally wilt if I ever moved away from the north shore. So glad you got to experience it!!

This was such a fun view of New England and Salem from someone who doesn't live there! I grew up in New England so I think it all starts to seem very normal and regular when you've been there so long. But I loved seeing you love it so much! Thanks for the wonderful vid!
Things to remember when you visit Salem as a tourist: -People live here. Not everyone is out for a leisurely stroll and taking in the sights. Some of us are coming or going from work and/or just living out everyday lives. - The houses you walk by, even the historical ones, are people homes, not museums. Please stay out of our yards and off of our property. - There are trash barrels, at least a couple to every block. Please put your trash there and not on the ground. - The historical burial grounds are not props. Those are actual cemeteries with people buried there, please have some respect. - Please respect our community and ALL the people in it. - Please watch your children. This is a city not a giant playground. Lady was letting her children play in the street while she took pics of Street art. A busy street. In the not so great part of Salem. -Enjoy your time here just don’t be annoying and disrespectful.

I just booked a Salem trip for October and stumbled across your channel. These vibes and energy are immaculate. I've made fantasy and ren faire content for 2 years now just for fun and I'm a professional photographer, but I don't have any friends that match my energy like this. I hope to have a group like this to work with and explore one day 💜 And thanks for the Salem inspiration for my trip (thinking of bringing my massive pirate hat in my checked bag now 😂)

I was in Salem last weekend, so it's nice revisiting it with this video. My partner was overwhelmed with the October crowds (which I agree were daunting), but at least most of the people around were respectful and nice. Just there for the Halloweeny fun times.
I have mixed feelings about Salem. Three of my relatives (two female and one male) were killed in the trials and it feels wrong to commercialize a terrifying and hellish period. But in modern day I can see how the tourism benefits the area.

Pretty sure this is common sense and these people also help the local shops by buying items and for example the Harry Potter themed place they stayed.

I went to Salem a year ago in September and it was amazing. A great Halloween loving town, highly recommend for any fellow spooky lover
