Marques, I like that you use a Zune and mention the iPod as an afterthought. Windows media player is fantastic and bug free, iTunes is slow and buggy on a Windows PC.
I'm at a thrift store in Victoria Ca, someone has it all in rhe original box and packaging, wanted to find out original pricing and how good it was, can't believe you covered this way back when, lol.
These speakers are great with razer surround pro. Other digital sound cleaners will work too I'm sure but I literally got these speakers tuned perfect and I highly reccomend them.
You definitely want headphones for making music. A speaker system that will let you hear everything that an affordable headset could would cost as much as a car. You seem to be looking for value, so I'll recommend the GameCom 780 headset. They have large, quality drivers and powerful bass.
For as many audio reviews you do (I assume you are somewhat of an audiophile), I am surprised you don't have a Cowon. They are one of the best mp3 player makers in the world. They are much better than Microsoft. Their UI isn't as good and they are very proprietary. However, they surpass almost everyone else in sound quality. You should really check out the J3! Maybe even make a review?
r these good to play call of duty and other games i have my ps3 hooked up to a monitor and was looking for some better speakers i wont be using them for music maybe movies
OK i have this system I'm just wondering do i have to turn it off by the main power on/off switch or just use the control pod and set it to mute to turn it off when i leave my computer?
@marquesbrownlee If you use an iPhone does it come up with a warning saying you should switch it to airplane mode? Because thats what my current surround sound does and its really annoying not being able to receive calls/texts when playing music
The subwoofer on this system is mixed with the front left and right speakers, as in a 2.1 system, instead of being on its own LFE channel as called for in a 5.1 system. Avoid like the plague.
@xXDP5150Xx Oh the Benchmarks of a device that's off the market. That's cool. I just think the zune is a hilarious flop. Everyone does. I don't care about portable sound quality. It's a magical device that lets me talk to people, take photos and video in 1080p, play them on my TV, edit them and put them on youtube oh and it fits in my pocket. I don't need super high quality sound from an mp3. If I want that I'll go home and put on an LP.

They discontinued Zune last October to transition to Windows Phones. Microsoft hasn't made them for half a year now. I bet you feel like a silly goose. @ascheinblum The best to extend the speakers would probably be DX-AD110 extensions. You can search the model # it and find results.

I have Logitech LS11 speakers. They aren't like yours but they actually have good sound. When I get high end Acer desktop, I'll get better ones.
Just wondering if the only power button is on the bottom of the sub.. that could be very annoying.

I'm pretty sure an RCA to 3.5 mm jack. Or if your TV has a headphone jack, you can just use that.
for the best computer speakers get the klipsch 2.1 speaker set they are the best sounding speakers out there for computers.
