Watching JDCR confuse the rank names with different Tekken games was the funniest thing
When I payed tekken 5 for the first time as a kid on ps2, I thought the graphics couldn't get any better than this.

It didnt really improve all that much since then
I would argue ttt2 looks the best out of the franchise because 7 looks like it was made for ps3
@@pfuze_5775 tt2 looks like t7 but shinier. I really think it also peaked at 4 or 5 and just had marginal improvements since then
@@Ritsu362 you're lien to yourself if you think the graphics peaked at 4 or even 5 tag 2 is literally the best looking game graphics wise I think 7 they look to plastic looking you really can't compare the two since 7 was made on a budget

Ah the good old days, I love Tekken 5 and Tekken 5 DR to death even today. My favorite game of all time.
T5 is a great game. T4 is as well, I really appreciated the all around stage movement the characters had in 4. The best tekkens are easily between 3,4,5...tt1 was great too

Tekken 5DR should be revamped in a HD remix and preserved (jus like smash melee) within the Tekken community esp for us OGs
I looked it up out of curiosity to fill in the blanks,
Tekken 5 had Champion, Legend, Sage, Warlord, Conqueror, Diety, Tekken Lord
Then DR Champion, Lone Wolf, Destroyer, Berserker, Sage, Legend, Fujin, Raijin, Deity, Lord of War, Dragon Lord, Tekken Lord, Dark Lord, and then Divine Fist
i got tekken 5 for ps2 the other day. gonna enjoy some retro goodness this christmas break.
I really love 5 and DR's pace.
5.0 계급은 123/4 5 시한/익스 마스터 버츄어소/ 챔피언 레전드 세이지/ 워로드 컨커뤄 디어티/ 텍로 이렇게 5.0이 계급이 3개씩 올라가면서 색깔(흰 녹 노 주 빨 황금)이 바뀌는 구조라 기억하기 쉬움.

Also T5.0 was truly a wonder. Just a crazy amount of busted funny stuff. May have had my share of losing to peak Bryan back in the day
Never played this untill recently (on emu) and i think this would be the GOAT tekken with just one balance patch
T5 Steve would beat vanilla Leroy, but vanilla Leroy was stronger overall compared to the rest of the cast in his original game. Like, Steve still has to compete with Nina, Hei, DVJ, Bryan, and probably a bunch of others I don't know about. But Leroy was just objectively the best character on basically every level.
Tekken 7 graphics was what I thought tekken 5 graphics looked like back in the day. Crazy looking at it now it looks janky but back then it was the best thing.
That's because you get spoiled with superb graphics, to the point your own expectations are skyrocketed beyond the horizon. If you want to enjoy a quality game, your expectations will be lowered, and you'll actually enjoy more things in this world
Honestly Tekken 7 Graphics are trash.

I thought T4 looked better than 5 at the time it felt like a downgrade. But some of the effects do look better

Steve Tekken 5 is almost as unfair as JInpachi boss stage. yes the Jinpachi AI can be dumb but the move set for both Steve/JInpachi and block property is so disgusting, i think EVO banned the infinite combo.
BUT i agree with JDCR that Leroy release was the most disgusting tekken character to date.. its like playing a cheat character with almost no bad moves
