these are games i've been recommended before, and i heard good things about the soundtrack. it's certainly interesting to listen to, and watching your confounded expressions throughout has been entertaining. Put this on Metroid Prime 1
LISA is the most underrated video game ever. Like, my top-5 games goes: Planescape:Torment, Disco Elysium, Outer Wilds, LISA The Painful and then Zero Escape: 999. And while the other ones are well regarded in their own genres and considered massive classics/GOAT-adjacent games, Lisa is kinda always overlooked for games in a similar vein like Undertale and Omori(which, fair enough, both are great), but the themes and the immersion/weight of your choices in LISA are unmatched and so very rarely depicted as powerfully as they are in this absolute emotional whirlwind of a game. If you’re a fan of Omori and Undertale and aren’t put off by unsettling themes and imagery, I cannot recommend this game enough.
@@Silvergrooves42 Planescape: Torment is basically Disco Elysium’s granddad, if Disco is the worlds best political/personality test, then PS:T is the world’s most incredible exploration of philosophy in a digestible and interesting way while also remaining a compelling and immersive story that could only be told through the medium of video games. And just to get you excited about it a bit more: Torment used to hold the record for most words in a game for 12 years until 2010 when Fallout New Vegas came out, and it’s easily the best game made by Chris Avellone, the creator of Fallout 2(and aforementioned New Vegas), KOTOR 2, Neverwinter Nights and Icewind Dale. Also, before you dive into it, turn the difficulty way down - old DND-based RPG games’ battle system sucked hard, and even when you were strong it didn’t feel fun, but honestly combat isn’t that big of a part of this game, so you wouldn’t miss anything either way. Everything else in this game that’s present in other games I’ve listed: the setting, the characters, the story, the emotional impact, the incredible ending sequence - it’s all there.
@@dunadan1995 You had my interest before but this is definitely exciting stuff! I'm putting it high on my bucket list. With story games like these I always like to be able to play them in a short amount so you can really get into it so probably next time I have a free week or something.
I thought Disco Elysium was underrated tbh. Or maybe the genre it's in rarely is discussed. A shame really, it's an incredible exploration on how politics and personality traits affects our sense of purpose. And the pale...it recontextualized everything about the world of Elysium. Harry is also the greatest example of "mold this character to your shape" I've ever seen. Genius.
It's strange and uncomfortable but that is why I like it. The vibe of the game is much different than the typical RPG. Wish i can put money towards OFF.
Listening to Welcome To Hell was actually really fun because it never occurred to me I've never heard the full song. Most of the super ambient cave music n stuff I skip thru when I'm listening to this OST, and since Welcome To Hell only plays in 2 locations, versus an enemy you can kill in 1 round (about 5 seconds) i've never heard much more than the intro to the song... Never realized just how absolutely TERRIFYING it is wow...
The F#-k You, I wouldnt say is odd. I think it perfectly respresents anger. Blind fury, when all you see is red. I consider it the ultimate theme of anger when your emotions are too incoherent The fact you heard the Call motif there makes it better because a significant theme became distorted by anger
UT Yellow is 22nd** in the spreadsheet currently so i think it's gonna be quite soon Edit 2: even after the correction i realized that we already went through 4 of the ones on the top so UT Yellow is even closer, that being 18th

Ode to the Oblivious is the ultimate insight-check.

If you know, it's " ._. "
It seems that Dan wants to get off Mr. Dingaling's Wild Ride.
Bro's not built for it
Had a great laugh watching you get weirded out by this bizarre soundtrack. Put this towards Super Meat Boy ost.

Yassssss, second part of Lisa's ost! Loving the reactions and the game, hype
Soft Skin always gives me chills, even before I knew the context of it
I think my favorite of the Call's is Death's Call. It just feels so musically fitting on the organ.
This track at 43:08 sounds like the intro to a deadmau5 track

There's not many tracks on this OST that I'd consider listening to out-of-context, but Vroom Vroom is genuinely really good

Fear & Hunger Ost next plis.
I was thinking if upvoting that but Fear and hunger really doesn't have much in the way of music mainly atmospheric music.
I would recommend then Mario Galaxy's Ost.

You have to listen to the cuphead soundtrack if you haven't already!
Please cover Homestuck and brutal orchestra
Please make one from Chrono Cross OST!!
I once heard someone say this soundtrack is hot garbage in the best way possible. 100%. GoAT'd
I can't wait until you react to the OST for Sonic Unleashed, you're going to love it
Day 3 of asking to listen to eastward ost
Ok... you may not know this but there is an Undertale Fangame called Undertale Yellow that has an awesome OST, I highly recommend it.
