Paul Mcartney couldn't believe when he wrote "Yesterday" that it wasn't already written by someone else before him. He sang it to a few people thinking they might know who wrote it.

The scene where he met John Lennon touched my soul....All the what if’s flooded me
That scene made me roll my eyes. Such a gratuitous and cheap scene meant only to catch a cheap feeling on fans. Also John Lenon was a funny guy and this movie made him a depressive and bored guy. Even if John didn't got killed and never were a Beatle he'd still being that fun guy. They changed his personality so to score that cheap emotional feeling. This movie overall is absolute terrible. Everything here is used as a hack to appease to fans with cheap feelings.

I would trade a thousand tomorrows for one more yesterday with them again. If you can hear my heart.. please treasure your family. Stop and look outside yourself and see all that matters and remind yourself of what matters most.. because some day, it will be yesterday.

That song was way to bad. A guy who could remember every Beatle song would understand why that one sucks.
I think this movie is so good not just because the music is fantastic, but the performances by Patel of these Beatles songs are clearly delivered with respect and love!
The movie really made me realize how transformational The Beatles have been for humanity and how much light we have because of them.
this film was so underrated. one of my favorites of 2019.

Himesh is HIGHLY underrated - I watched this movie and just was floored (my husband is a professional player) by his performance, I ran out during the movie to see if he was really singing / playing. I am about to rent it and watch again! I also don't post many comments that aren't on crafty channels but feel the need to here - no asked - but there you go!

I just wanted to say thank you for posting this. Yesterday, my grandma died. Today, I broke up with my boyfriend who abuses my feelings and makes me feel bad about myself. I loved this movie, and the way Himesh sings this is so peaceful. Although a lot of my hope was lost yesterday and today, doesn't mean I have to loose hope for tomorrow. Because this song gives me hope that tomorrow will be a better day. No matter what you are growing through, never forget that you are capable of making today better then yesterday, and you can make tomorrow the best yet. Even though I don't know you, know that I love you and value you.

Sorry for the lose of your Grandma. Glad for you breaking up with an abusive boyfriend (no one should go through that). I can understand the feelings of peacefulness that overcomes you when hearing this rendition of "Yesteday" the same happens to me. Do not close yourself off open your heart however make sure your protect it as well do not let someone treat you poorly. Hope all goes well making "today better than yesterday"!!!
