I followed standard medical advice and stopped cleaning my ears with Q-tips and quickly ended up with BL wax impactions! It was the worst thing, to be losing your hearing and you get very nervous when you can't hear what is happening around you. I left my appointment a totally different person- went from hunched and nervous to standing tall and smiling just because I could hear! The impact of hearing loss is much greater than I ever knew. The doctor told me to go back to cleaning my ears out like I always did.
This is what I say if I didn't clean my ears out about every other night with a Q-tip then I would be at the doctor's office every month coughing like crazy and they wouldn't be able to get anything out either. And why don't they just make you tip smaller where they don't show things and they get things out because I just take off about half of the cotton and use it around the canal and make sure not to shove anything further and it works great. My husband on the other hand does not clean his cuz he goes to the ear doctor on a frequent occasion just to get ear wax sucked out. What do they think those are made for not cleaning your ears using it on your fingernails, any other thing that they're just lying about because trust me there for your ears
I have a question why is it that you guys never trim all that crazy hair that some of the patients have? You can't say that it's all normal because most people do not have it it's like 1 and 20 year videos I see have people that have hair just sticking straight out of their ears and no one ever plucks it and acts like it's not a problem when you can't see anything and there's a wax embedded in that crap all the way down to their eardrum just about. Can we do a PSA to old man not to put their head to the side and shave that stuff with a nose hair trimmer because it just gets embedded down into your wax and you can tell. Does anybody else see this and then nobody else notices and says it's fine?
The guy with the dome in his ear had encrusted hard wax stuck to his ear drum. Do you think that makes it perhaps not vibrate like it's supposed to? Sorry I'm used to the videos where they don't touch the walls and mainly use suction and it's all completely clean even by the ear drum even if they use oil to debride it it's so squameaky clean after. After all the stuff didn't come out on its own the first 75 years of their life obviously don't you think maybe we should get it all the way clean? I'm sure I just don't get it after all not a doctor at all. Just seems that they came all the way to the doctor and at times I feel they just get some of the wax out.

Thank you for sharing. Very interesting. Nice clean outs, your patients must have been so relieved to hear again. I had no idea the vagus nerve in the ear could make you cough.
This cough reflex happens to me every time I clean my ears. I cough even much more strongly than this gentleman did! All my life I've asked friends, etc. about this, if it happens to them, and they always say they've never heard of it.
I never knew what caused it but I’ve experienced as well but it happens to my son a lot. He gets wax build up and it typically happens in one of his ears more. He coughs so bad his eyes sometimes will get bloodshot and I have to just stop doing his ear
This voice is ideal for reading materials and stories for relaxation. So soothing and mellow… 🥱😴 The vagus nerve (10th cranial nerve) actually travels throughout most of the body. It runs along the digestive system and has been identified as a possible agitator to conditions such as IBS. It’s also thought that migraine syndrome could be affected by this nerve. My husband is a regular wax builder. We thought it was because he used ear plugs at work, but he retired six years ago. Two years ago, he had his ears cleaned out via suction for the first time. Afterwards, his hearing was great. About a month ago, he experienced severe hearing loss in both ears. We went in to an ENT where they cleaned his ears out and instructed him to come back in a year, unless it happens again before the next appointment. His hearing seems to be declining and I’m afraid, he may need to have hearing aids in the future. My question is, do hearing aids cause excessive wax buildup? I’m just curious. Thank you!
Having had ear infections over the years the suction one was the best to use because it just eased the pain ...I now have a Clocile Ear implant... which is brilliant!!
Interesting i didnt know that about the vagus nerve and i am an autistic person that hyper focuses on things i want learn now i am going to hyper focus on the nervous system in the ears. And i also must see this for myself it is a pretty funny party trick!
So my husband isn’t “crazy”! Lol 😂 He has a very sensitive gag reflex and when I try to clean his ears he gags horribly. I have figured out where the spot is and I can avoid it some of the time if I’m super careful. He’ll also get a tickle in the back of his throat that will bug him for days…I bet, if I checked, his ears would be waxy when he has the tickle.

Thank you!
He wants to save some money 💰 maybe the new ones are very expensive!
Having had ear infections over the years the suction one was the best to use because it just eased the pain ...I now have a Clocile Ear implant... which is brilliant!!
He seems exceptionally skilled. Old school is working for him
I am 60 Y.O and I never have this situation, This should be a careless person.
I THINK IF PEOPLE WOULD JUST KEEP THEIR EARS CLEAN
THEY'D BE ABLE TO HEAR👂
Interesting i didnt know that about the vagus nerve and i am an autistic person that hyper focuses on things i want learn now i am going to hyper focus on the nervous system in the ears. And i also must see this for myself it is a pretty funny party trick!
Лучшая работа в мире 🤤
So my husband isn’t “crazy”! Lol 😂 He has a very sensitive gag reflex and when I try to clean his ears he gags horribly. I have figured out where the spot is and I can avoid it some of the time if I’m super careful. He’ll also get a tickle in the back of his throat that will bug him for days…I bet, if I checked, his ears would be waxy when he has the tickle.
Have you tried hydrogen peroxide to loosen the wax and make it bubble to the surface?
I have a friend who puts peroxide in their ear. She says it helps keep it clean.
Kita sepatutnya selalu bersih2kan dlm telinga kita. 3 bulan sekali. Baru la tahi telinga x bnyak mcm tu. Ini mungkin dah lama x bersih kn telinga nya, maka tahi telinga pn dh bnyak terkumpul dlm telinga nya dah keras. Saya pn selalu bersih kn dlm telinga saya dengan grip hair. Alhamdulillah 🤲😀🌹
Ada juga orang bersihkan telinga nya dgn putik kapas tpi makin masuk ke dlm tahi telinga nya. Jdi dia g jumpa dgn doctor. Doctor guna kn forceps. Skli kluar besar tahi telinga nya.
Thanks for the clarification. I clean my ears with a Q-tip or I will get a lot of wax build up. When I do I too will have to stop and cough. Glad to know it is not just me.
When I was a kid my doctor would get mad because I would start coughing when he started looking in my ears.
いつも思うけどこんだけ奥の方まで危惧つっこんで痛みはないの?
あと吸引してるやつ、あれされてるときの音ってどんなんだろう

Poor guys are like my husband. He has large canals, makes loads of wax, and it plays the devil with his hearing aids. I have small canals, make very little wax, and almost never have residue on hearing aids.
I'm coughing just thinking about it
Love watching these very informative ❤
Glad you like them!
Aren’t you using the clear scope from the UK??? Looks like it ❤
No, I use a microscope.
I’m so fascinated yet a bit grossed out! 😉
Very educational
Glad you think so!! Thanks for watching!!
These people just have a lot more ear wax than most people.
What's the right relief pills for ear severe ear pains pls coz I've taken all possible relieves but no any effect
Sorry you are having significant pain! It depends on the source of the pain. An ENT consultation would be warranted!! Your Primary Care Doctor or local Urgent care should be able to refer you to an ENT.
Great video! Tfs!
Thanks for watching!
With all due respect, I mean that sincerely, do you ever gag at what comes out of ears? I don't understand why I keep watching even when I find the stuff disgusting, it fascinates me. Maybe it's just your voice and how calm you are. 😅
Good question! It does not bother me at all! Thank you for the compliments and thanks for watching!
Those with ants and other insects.
