    Did the ANC disappear after the first 15 years? Were they tied up in some back room in Parliament while these sinister forces rampaged? No, they were in charge and partying along just as happily as the so-called counter revolutionaries were.

      You can not argue the facts. Since Mbeki's presidency, the country has been in an economic downward spiral thanks to Zuma and now Ramaphosa. The only way out of this mess to to rally behind a centre-right party, and get rid of the ANC. The ANC of Mbeki's era is gone and will never return. A vote for the ANC, MK, EFF, GOOD, PA, etc., is a vote for further decay. Our future hinges on a thriving economy, and none of the previously mentioned parties can deliver that. This country will never realise its potential as long aa the ANC is involved, they are a self-serving band of criminals.

    Please can i say something controversial. Universal we need a age cut off for someone to be president. A 70 year old has no idea what a 18 year old luved experience is . Hell im 50 and have to take several yoga breaths because i some times dont understand my 21 year old childs way of how she sees the world
    These are our future leaders and the way they see the world is completely different from how people over 30 see it . Just my thought

    Mr Mpofu do you really believe that the ANC is ruling the country not WMC, let's look at the mainstream media hostility towards Zuma vs Mbeki and Ramaphosa, who's behind the media, the one who says Zuma must not be given an air time, in both SABC and ENCA? I know you may say it is unfounded allegations, but according to your own eyes, both Thabo Mbeki and Ramaphosa who're talking on behalf of the ANC, are both given a chance in the last minute! Another question is how are we arriving at this coming coalitional government, have you never had De Klerk talking about it in the past? Ramaphosa came to fulfill that plan, from the very outside forces that both previous presidents are complaining about. Ramaphosa did nothing and he ruined everything, and the role of the media was to say, "it is the ANC", as opposed to say it is "Ramaphosa", it said it is "30 years" as opposed to saying, it is last "6 years".
    Do you know that Mbeki was once expressed joy for meeting the Guptas' mother for the first time, I will attach the link below, but has the mainstream media asked what was the importance of the Guptas then, in the ANC, from Mbeki?

    Ramaphosa says he is processing Phala Phala refund.
    CHAPTER 16: RECOMMENDATION
    264. In light of all the information placed before the panel, we conclude that this information discloses, prime facie, that the President may have committed:
    • 261.1 A serious violation of the section 96[2][a].
    • 264.2 A serious violation of section 34[1] of PRECCA.
    • 264.3 A serious misconduct in that the President violated section 96 [2][b] by acting in a
    way that is inconsistent with his office.
    • 264.4 A serious misconduct in that the President violated section 96[2][b] by exposing
    himself to a situation involving a conflict between his official responsibilities and his private business of the Constitution.

      MK was nothing before Zuma, and will be nothing after Zuma. MK is simply a platform to attempt to harm the ANC at the polls. So sad that ordinary South Africans by into this nonsense and further solidify their fate...a life without opportunity, and life suck in poverty...while their so-called leaders use government coffers to prop up their otherwise lifestyles. Cry the beloved country.

  • @sammakwela
    @sammakwela 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

    There are many things we have gotten right in RSA. One of them is that we have sustained stable elections.
    It's fair to say that most South Africans want prosperity and equality to the largest extent possible. We just disagree on the road that will lead us there. So, through this National Dialogue, we should decide on the balance of radicalism (for speed) and steadiness (for preservation) of wealth creation. Perhaps some young blood might come up with a way that doesn't compromise both. One thing is clear to me; politicians and their parties are not the answer to our needs. We are. We are all we have.

    The first 15 years is where the challenges of the present were fortified. The first 15 years, the ANC had 2/3 majority, but did nothing about anything really. Today is simply a manifestation of the poorest form of governing a country.

    I buy what Thabo Mbeki said about those who wanted RSA to fail because NDR was viewed as communist. Yes government failed probably because ANC and government intelligence structures were infiltrated. Who had the most influence in these intelligence structures?

    On Renewal: What delays things is internal party politics. The ANC tables issues, debates on them then go on a vote. 1 should expect that on all these issues, the NEC may not unanimously agree so a struggle to do things slows things down when there's a pushing & pulling from within. It is unbelievable that the NEC has expelled a SG in Ace Magashule, acting on allegations for Phala Phala & a Speaker of Parliament to be actually taken to court for allegations against her & many that have stepped aside because of charges against her.

    Sizwe the NP government was not a defeated entity and the ANC had to work with some leadership of the NP and TBVC with it's workforce which they inherited from these states, the constitution of South Africa is giving the state president enormous power to do what he or she thinks is good for the state, for example you can't challenge the state president for appointing ministers and deputy ministers and some key strategic positions and if that president is so compromised by private businesses, rogue elements of the intelligence services and other syndicates or mafias, that state can collapse

    • @user-wh9zg8np1s
      @user-wh9zg8np1s 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Remember Sizwe the ANC and the NP had a task of uniting the country, economically South Africa was a powerful country among countries in the world with all it's powerful army and the educated professional intelligence services supported by the entire Western governments, hayi maan Sizwe don't be too lazy to apply your mind, you are such a bright child

    I never listen to Mbeki, he is an academic hypocrite. And for Zuma to say that he could not do what he wanted to because of some in the collective, proves that he cannot guarrantee us that in the MK he will succed because he uses the very same system that failed in the ANC.
    The ANC failed the people but never failed its elites, they are billioniares.

    South Africa needs a CODECSA( COnvention of a DE-Colonized South Africa). Truth is we are still very much a colonized nation, hence that's why we cannot move forward, hence that why the rich is getting richer, the poor is getting poorer. We are in apartheid2.0.

    I think, Mbeki should not blow his own trumpet. He should allow us, citizens to give him or the anc credit for the first15 years. Quite frankly, as you correctly have analyzed -we are merely contrasting the then and subsequent 15 years. If you really zoom into the first 15 years, you find a widening gap between the poor and the middle class. I think a paradigm shift happened from 2009 to look into catering to the needs of the poor.this paradigm was not received well by capital
