Very much disagree with "All you need to know is what goes in and what comes out". You should definitely know your intermediates and structures and which steps specifically yield NADH, ATP, FADH, which steps are rate limiting, etc.
How do you know? Did you see those questions on the test? Or are just from word of mouth? Please be honest. This test is very important to me and many others
