The image looks like you placed it in same position, how did change it from landscape to portrait to correct the issue? Thank you!
I don’t see any difference. Both images are in portrait.
thank you for the great video. I have had the same error but I cannot figure it out. I have tried all the hacks, Frosted tape over the lines, sharpie marker to make the line darker. I don't know what the problem is. My print lines are crisp then I add a laminate and then it doesn't work. I have tried plain paper, and that did work but after I got the error that stopped working too. Any advise you can offer would be appreciated.
Not sure if others are having this issue but mine cannot detect the marks. I've tried calibrating with several different types of paper and still no luck. I've checked my sensor light and its circle, not all over the place. The only way I can cut my stickers if I already have them on the mat and I control the cutting through design space. I've downloaded the system to my windows and mac computer.My Cricut still shows an error sign on detecting cut marks on the calibration sheet. Have you had this issue? I've even bought super white paper and no luck.

Omg this is so stressful. I see that I'm not the only person that's having these issues. Normally I'm able to figure it out, but not this time. This never happened to me. I also can't get my cricut to show my print to calibrate my machine.

Hello, I hope somebody answers my question here. I've been having trouble with my cricut explorer air 2 which I just purchase last month, August. My machine cannot register the sensor marks and have tried every possible hack on youtube been watching almost 10-20 videos since the 6th of September how to fix this and still has the same issue where my machine cannot scan the sensor marks and it's making me crazy. I have tried scotch tape, marker, fixing it on the mat, and more. Even with a printed calibration sheet it still won't register the sensor marks. I need help. It does not work on any type of paper that I have tried which is paper, photo paper, sticker paper both matte and glossy, and also printable vinyl. I have also used soft brush to clean the sensor light but having the same error. Contacted the cricut support but they are just going round and round and does not answer nor help with my issue.

It shouldn't be as the logo is small. What cutting machine are you using? What is the height and width of the image?
Hi I am having an issue where the top of my sensor mark is not printing and the image and sensor mark is getting cut off when I go to print, I have double checked everything including letter size and recalibrating but to no avail and can no longer use my Canon Pro 200 to print and cut, it is beyond frustrating. Wondering if anyone has come across this issue my printer and cricut were working perfectly until they recently did an update.
I print but the sensor lines around the image didn't print. Can you help me as to why it didn't print ?
I don’t want to print and cut, I just want to cut. I notice that designs that come up with a border around it like the one you have in this video gives me the error. Anything without that border cuts without an issue. Is there anyway to take that border out, or what am I doing wrong.

Ok, you will need to make sure the project on the right side shows as Cut and not Print and Cut
How do you change to cut only?
Well in my case was the most stupid thing that could ever happen, I printed from a PDF that I've created with the Cricut but instead of printing it I printed it , there were no way to cut since the cutting lines didn't fit the original document... Everyday you learn something new... Three hours until I could find the problem...

I am having the same problem with my cricut maker and I've watched and tried all they said but nothing worked including yours. Not sure really what's going on with my machine but I just got it couple months ago and it's been working fine just to simply cut when I tried this print & cut feature, it went crazy.

I need help! I have the Cricut explore air 2 and am having trouble with the sensor picking up the cut marks on my images. I tried calibration twice and repeats the same process of not being able to read the cut marks. I tried with previous images and they worked fine. I am not sure if it's the design that is the issue.

@@dorisedwards58 the images that worked worked just fine before I wanted to cut my newest designs and after the calibration. However, my newest designs still refused to cut after the calibration test regardless on how I sorted them on the design space. I tried mixing them in various combinations and still didn't work. I decided to make some new designs today and they cut just fine, I believe it's the images that are faulty not the machine. So I'm going to redesign them and see if that helps!
Same here! I go back to my old print & cut projects & they still cut perfectly....this new project I'm doing the same process & nothing...my cricut is spitting the mat out.

You need to show what the machine is actually doing and not just leave it on that same screen, that wasn’t helpful
You obviously didn’t watch the video, along with four other people. She said she was using the circuit maker and it also CLEARLY states it

What do you mean precut the vinyl?
@@dorisedwards58 I cut the vinyl to the size I need I did not use a 8x10 sheet I am using a 8x4 sheet. And it still tells me the error of not seeing the line. The vinyls is white
@@margie6782 Is this printable vinyl? Also if you are cutting before you place it in the cutting machine I think that would cause the measurements of where cricut thinks the cuts are to be off. Im going to test it tomorrow just to see if it causes an issue

my 2 images weren't too large, but cricut put both of them on the same mat to go past the 9.75. How do I correct this without having to reprint? I am using waterslide and this paper is expensive.
After you click Make it you can move images from one mat to another. Try to do that and see if it works.

Just got my cricut and I'm trying to cut a small Honda symbol for my son on vinyl but it's saying it's not detecting the lines ect. To use white paper. ( same thing yours said)

mine wont read the sensor on glossy printable vinyl
What machine do you have?
I am having the same problem and I have the cricut explore air 2. The paper I got says it works with cricut and a lot of people write reviews saying they loved it but it doesn’t detect the boards to start cutting. On different paper it works just fine but why won’t it work with my glossy printable vinyl. My machine is new so it shouldn’t have issues.
@@alexisburke2865 I have the Cricut maker and to my knowledge print and cut doesn't work unless the paper is white with the explorer air 2, I think it does with the Cricut Maker. I will test it in a minute on color paper and see what happens. I don't have any glitter printable to try it.
I did this and it still gives me the error message.
What cutting machine are you using and what are you using to access Cricut Design Space?

We cannot hear what you are saying when you are telling us what to do after you print the image.

My image is portrait on my mat and it’s still giving me the same error message that was on your screen. I’ve recalibrated twice and restarted my computer and Cricut and I’m still having no luck.
What cutting machine do you have?

@@compli8d298 I found a TH-cam video where this lady said place some clear tape around the edges of the waterslide paper. When I did that, it worked like a charm. Caution: the clear tape tends to pull the water slide paper up when you take it off the mat, but I was able to save all my water slides. So, just tape the paper to your mat and it should work

this video isn't good. Telling us what your'e doing as if we can see it, then not fast forwarding while you reposition your image.

At the time I created this video I didn't have the ability to do share screen and for you to see me at the same time. I did recreate this video to better explain the process. My goal is to be helpful and not to confuse anyone.
