I can't find calibrate. Its so slow. I use it with my newist laptop and I don't think shouyld matter. Does anyone know where I go to find Calibrate on the updated version?
I knew I could find the answer to whatever the Cricut question on your channel😊. I tried this last night on a strong grip mat but kept getting an error message that the machine could not detect the registration marks. Not sure why but it worked when I followed along with you😊
Hello Delonda. Just wanted to thank you for your help. You nailed it for amateurs like me. I watched other videos and they assume we know more than we do. Your explanation for how to calibrate my machine was simple and easy to understand and it worked perfectly.
When I calibrated my printer & it printed out the sheet I only got 1/2 a page not a full page? Oh man talk abt confusing stuff aye My calibration was different it cut out the word CRICUT it didn't do this sheet????

Hi! So maybe I can help. I've tried EVERY calibration hack to no avail. so my PnC calibration was off to the left..say 1/2 inch. After way too many calibrations, i decided to see if I could trick the system. so i looked at the top line and saw where the calibration was centered. I then said, ok, I need it to move way to right to the right to get on the black box. I overcompensated using the center number for the top line, I did 20. I did 20 twice and I got super close to the black box line . My third time using 20, it moved a little to the left too far so I overcompensated again and told the computer that my center was 8. The is to get to move to the left more. The key is I kept the right line so the 'letters'true to the center on the calibration since the top and bottom lines were not the issue. so in a nutshell, look at how far off you are and overadjust your 'number' to the left or right of what the center is for the calibration . Keep your true center for the letter line though
I have a question I was just calibrating my explore 2 and the number and letter I needed that was closet to my lines weren't an option so I selected the closet options and now when I try to re calibrate the machine it won't read the cut lines do you have any advice that can help me in my situation please and thank you ?
@@CraftingwithDelonda thanks for the response .... but turns out it was just something to do with the software I turned off and disconnected the machine from outlet and restarted my computer as well as design space and everything worked correctly and I was able to scroll down to select the number and letter needed to calibrate the machine
Nice one Delonda. This is almost the same with maker right? I never calibrated mine yet. I am still lucky that mine were perfect cuts then😅. I think i will plan some calibration dates in my planner so i dont forget
@CraftingwithDelonda in New to explorer air two and wanna do the exact same cut so I can put heat transfer on top of regular vinyl but it keeps messing up how to I calibrate the blade
No worries. I usually don't find out that it's needed until my cut is off. That normally happens when I want to do a print then cut project. It's probably best to calibrate before doing a print then cut project so you don't waste materials.

My printer is mirroring my calibration sheet.
Turn off the mirror settings on your printer.
When I print a test page on my printer, should I have it mirrored, or non-mirrored when I print mine out it isn’t the exact same way as what you show
Is your printer set to automatically mirror? If so, turn it off.
Im struggling so much to calibrate. I have done print then cut before and it was fine. Now it wont let me pass the calibration part
Close out design space and reload it.
