过年萝卜两食 Raddish Recipes x 2 for casual CNY

  • Home cooking is all about casual and enjoyable.
    I do not push for too much detail shopping list. But, as long as you can gather something fresh for the season. Go Ahead!
    Ingredients:
    1. A good choice of Raddish
    2. Lean meat for soup
    3. A dash of paste, e.g. minced beef &/ pork with oyster sauce and vinegar
    Good to go.
    Method:
    1. Slice up the raddish into shapes of scallops
    2. Slightly make some decorative cuts on the two sides of the raddish pieces
    3. Warm up your paste and place the raddish onto paste
    4. Add in some cooking wine (brandy or chinese wine)
    5. Add some water to slightly cover all the raddish
    6. Medium to low heat at the pot for 20 mins
    Done
