So Jorah died a Mormont but was reborn as a Belmont, that's quite the upgrade. Iain Glen as oldman Juste is perfection.
HAHAHA I hadn't notice the voice acting
He is not that young either (the actor I mean).
Ikr. The voice thooo.
Owner:”If you can pay for your meals in carpentry..”
Juste: “Well I AM an interior decorator”
Ah, Juste, the only Belmont we get to play who can Spell Fuse.
Those abilities were no joke.
Damn right
(Cross with wind book)
I’m so happy their giving Juste more recognition he actually deserves. HoD is very underrated from the whole series and not many people remember it.
Also once again I love how Belmont tradition of fighting in a bar continues lmao
Behind Julius wasn't Juste ranked as the second strongest of all the Belmonts?
@@willn8664Technically, in terms of overall power, the next Belmont is stronger than the previous one. So with Julius being canonically the last one, he's the strongest, and then Richter, Julia, Juste, Juste's Belmont parent, Simon, etc.
Juste is said to the most potent/powerful (or second-most) magic user among Belmonts. And I can see it; it's very likely that each of the Belmonts was specializing more in some things than the others)
Man, I hope he shows up in season two
And they give him more justice
Juste's justice.
I feel he and Alucard are going to train Richter and Juste may get one last hurrah in
@@prideofasia99 Juste is pretty much Joseph Joestar right about now with Richter been his Jotaro and Olrox his Dio Brando.
@@prideofasia99 I think that too, but I don’t know because I thought he was gonna come in at the end and save them instead of Alucard so my predictions haven’t been to a spot on
But I do think Rictor needs a training arc Especially with magic
@@brightidiot6020 I bet you in Season 2 Richter's gonna start calling Juste "Jiji" during their training sessions.
Love that little flicker effect as Juste walks forward, as in the games.
If it had been blue it would have been perfect 💯
Mann, if you don’t know anything about the games, Juste is no joke. One of the most powerful Belmont’s ever. Just like he said, he barely needed the whip. His magic was unrivaled. I hope we get to see him in his classic red coat in season 2.
After Richter's magic awakening,Juste kind of disappeared from the show. I'm glad he's not killed of and i hope he won't,but I hope he shows up again in the next season to aid Richter and Alucard.....even givin him some sort of redemption by bringing him some sort of his old powers. For real ,he even said he was the best belmont to use magic till that point ,seeing him like this is just tragic 😢
I imagine in the next season or two they would at least play some flashbacks to Juste’s connection to Julia. I want to see more of both of them!
yeah, it's a shame that Juste kind of disappeared from the show after Richter's magic awakening. Hopefully, he'll make a comeback in the next season to aid Richter and Alucard. It would be great to see him regain some of his old powers and find redemption. It's definitely tragic to see him in this state.
I mean it makes sense, juste is old and though hes a belmont he still has his limits and hell he said it himself hes out of his element now with the comment on the whips weight he would just be a detriment to them then a boon yaknow?
Plus i dont doubt they wont give him screen time like hell he's one of the most important belmonts in the games i doubt they would just leave him alone
Inside his little shack there’s a chest, I bet that’s where the The Morning Star is for season 2
@@trace1506Yes true, he’s pretty much long retired. But, I don’t think he meant the actual weight of the whip. I think he meant carrying the responsibility of being a Belmont. Since he lost his wife, friend, and daughter despite killing so many vampires as the “hero.” You can only deal with the same lifestyle for so long.
"I'm Juste."
"Juste who!?"
"Juste these nuts. Haha gottem."
"...Oh my god you're a Belmont!"
this has to be an abridged quote if it ever gets one

I honestly thought more of them would, given the fact that they become stronger after each generation. Unless they live in other cities or states.
According the game lore Juste is Richter's father.but this lore is good too
No there was always a mystery who Richters parents were. Plus I believe there was always a big age difference, like 40-50 years from their adventures. Not saying Juste still couldn't have kids, but I doubt he would wait that long in his profession.@@TheSGEllie
@@TheSGEllie grand father.
Juste deserves his own series... He was done dirty in this!
In his own words which are FACTS the most OP MAGIC USER the Bellemont's have ever produced who barely needed the whip!
Also, where's the Morning Star?
Trevor left it on the ground when he used the dagger to kill death in the infinite corridor, since he was not holding it when st. germain teleported him out it was either lost there forever or could be in another time period.
He can still get his own season. This is just old him. They can adapt Harmony of Dissonance anyway. I mean, his adventure happened and Maxim and Lydie are mentioned.
juste does deserve his own series, he was done dirty, he's the most OP magic user the Belmonts have ever produced, hardly needing the whip. as for the Morning Star, it's a powerful weapon in the Castlevania series, usually the highest form of the Vampire Killer whip.
He wasn't done dirty, he is just old and kinda cynical. Everyone gets old and Juste lived a tough life, it makes sense.
Would like to see Richter get the morning star in season 2 similar with trevor he would be the iconic badass Richter with the chain whip we know from the old games
So sad to see he forgot to wear his friendship bracelet
He is too old.

I love how Richter’s first response is “give it back” and not “how the hell are you a master of using a whip and vampire killing?!”
Beware the old man in a profession where most die young.
Wise advice indeed.
We got Trevor, Richter, and now Juste. All thats left now are Simon and Leon and we got the 5 great Belmonts on screen.
Even Christopher
I doubt that they will making series with Simon as main protagonist, if so. Then they will altered his story since there's few characters connected with him.
@@faleilham8334 yeah. People overhype themselves too much, but forget the narrative problems. In my case, i feel the most logical sequel would be Aria of Sorrow, for two main things: the story is pretty different than the rest even in the games (something Nocturne really suffered since writers had to alter it very much to not repeat the evil Dracula stuff) AND MAINLY because it has ALUCARD in it, and we can conclude by now that Alucard will be the link charachter in all this Castlevania series.
@@theoneitselfI would love to see a series revolving around Soma, but how would that work? He is a bit overpowered for a main protagonist in an anime.
@@pyro5159 easy: he is overpowered for GAME purposes, but in a "real life" series lore he would'nt be at least at the beginning. Remember that he is supposed to be a 18 year old high schooler who is not supposed to be even a fighter. Sure, in the game he starts grabbing weapons like nothing, but in the series he should not be that powerful at the beginning at least. It really could work.
I love how Juste just needed a few warm up whips with the old family weapon to see if his old bones still have it in them to do so and then just proceeds to 1-2 the vamp like it’s just another Tuesday for him, also love how the bartender just rolls his eyes annoyingly saying “ah fuck me another one off the wankers” and just slides down to cover his ass!
I honestly love Juste's characterization as someone who clearly loves his grandson but doesn't want to show it. He goes out of his way to make an impression on Richter when he can, doesn't hide that he's a Belmont, mentions having used the whip before and all but says that they're related as soon as possible.
They did not forget about our boy Juste. His and Alucard's appearance where to highlights of this season. A blast from the past.
Just so marvelously beautiful this masterpiece is, every single thing about this show is just chef's kiss, the atmosphere, characters, animation, somethings don't need any recognition to be good, they just are there to be brilliant
Bruh the characters are bland as fuck, the MC was turned into a pussy, sobbing at every turn of events. The writing seems out of place certain times and so does the overly pink artstyle. The villainous mistress mary sue is also annoying. Ugh i want my old castlevania back
2:24 I got so many chills when the Belmont theme started playing in the background, the same theme that played at the Belmont Hold and when Trevor fought Death
Who is Juste? I thought this was Trevor but then I realize this takes place 300 years in the future. So Juste must be his grandson.
@@suzygirl1843juste is trevor belmonts great great great grandson.
@@Mikemic2218 Honestly, this is why they change stories for the mainstream. Annette asking who Dracula is - an obvious myth in the Western world - is like me not knowing the Belmont family line. @@suzygirl1843 ok so you never played the games? Got it. You should at LEAST know that the belmont family is USUALLY the protagonists in most of the games of castlevania. Look up the belmont family tree on Google images so that way you can understand which belmont belongs in what time period. Imo, changing things for mainstream audiences hurts the show. But so far they kept the belmonts as they should be and the plots simple but very much like the games.
@@suzygirl1843ah yea been a bit in this world. Just google the belmont game lineage sometime and you’ll see the characters. It’s good stuff :)
Juste is still a badass after all his adventures. Despite his age, he still absolutely rocks. I have platinumed the Castlevania Advance Collection one year ago and it was an awesome experience ! Seeing him in action and interact with his grandson was a very pleasant surprise.

When he talks about the vampire killer he isnt just talking about the whip itself but the legacy of the belmonts
Even as an old man, who’s lost everything Juste It’s still a bad ass. It’s just a shame he lost everything.!
Have a bad feeling that Juste Belmont achieved bad ending A or worst ending B as he lost both his friend Maxim and his wife Lydia.

Leon and Simon need their own shows or at least a damn movie.
Harmony of dissonance is so fucking underrated I was NOT expecting him to get ever get animated honestly and I was so overjoyed I almost cried
My only wish was for them to animate a flashback showing young Juste in action. Was really hyped to see him on screen and was kind of disappointed they didn’t show what he was capable of after all that talk about him being able to fry vampires without the help of the whip.

THIS just opened a new time line for the series. We can see young Juste, Maxim, Lydie! Maybe collect Dracula’s remains and slain him again! So happy the creators of the series are taking liberties with the characters and story, but also respecting the fans and the game itself.
dracula isn't dead on this series though, he is alive and is probably living a much more peaceful eternal life. since lisa wasn't killed by a zealous priests for a second time. chances are the trio went against a powerful vampire and that vampire killed both lydie and maxim as juste mentions in the next episode.
The fact he is so elegant and skilled with the whip, despite us learning later he primarily used magic.
This scene with Juste made me pick up and start playing Harmony of Dissonance for the first time ever.
Whoa. Never thought they'd put another Belmont in the same series. Feels kinda weird, I'll say. Now I feel sorry for Trevor. The only other Belmont he ever got by his side was his mom who passed away before the series and his son. He never had another mentor figure later on.
