Singapore is one of the most beautiful success stories in the world, everything in the video was not there before 50 years! They changed the country within 50 years only with limited resources! I lived and worked in Singapore back in 2018 for 2 years and it's one of the highlights of my life! SP is a clean and well-organized city. Expensive but high income if work in the right areas. Too much western influence but diversify. SP city is the best in ASEAN.
I don’t believe there is a perfect country, but I believe there is beautiful places . Just thinking about we already destroy this beautiful planet 🌏 with the ambitious to be number one.
As a local I would say this area is the tourist and downtown area. It’s clean not because people are all well behaved it’s because there are many teams of cleaners cleaning up the streets every night, plus there are dustbins every where. If you visit the HDB blocks where most locals live, especially old neighbourhood next to the shops and kopitiam, it’s another story. People at my previous block would throw used tissue, sanitary pads, chicken bones out of the windows. Sometimes water too. People used to throw big items like bicycle, TV out of windows and caused injuries and government stepped in to confiscate the apartment from whomever throwing large items.

Cycling is always the best option to explore the City, specially if you want to explore in less time. Cycling in the street of Frankfurt makes me more happier than travelling with the Train, since the Cylcing paths are well managed in Germany. 😊

I super miss Singapore. This country has an appeal to me that I can't explain. Even though I have visited more than 5 times already I still wanna go back.
Malaysian here, my father's two sisters and one brother lived in Singapore for more than 30 years. Since I was small, I visited there with my family at the end of every year (except 2020 and 2021 because of the pandemic). Until this day, I am still amazed how modern, beautiful and clean of a country Singapore is. I really can't wait to get a job and live there after my university graduation.

Do you mean those public housing residential areas? We call those void decks. The design was made for the 2nd generation of public housing (i believe). Its purpose was to create space and allow people to congregate and mingle. We use the void decks to host weddings, and even funerals etc.

The fine/penalty for littering is a whopping $2000 over there, it's been that way for several decades now. Seems like a crazy policy, but it definitely works--people simply _don't_ litter if the risk is that high. It's so simple... and yet no one else is doing it. (Except for Rwanda, which has since become the cleanest country in all of Africa.)

I always go to Singapore, 1 time a year at least. I like to see people living in each zone around the city. It’s a clean and nice city.

🤣 It's seems like the usual comment when people visit Singapore
As a local I would say this area is the tourist and downtown area. It’s clean not because people are all well behaved it’s because there are many teams of cleaners cleaning up the streets every night, plus there are dustbins every where. If you visit the HDB blocks where most locals live, especially old neighbourhood next to the shops and kopitiam, it’s another story. People at my previous block would throw used tissue, sanitary pads, chicken bones out of the windows. Sometimes water too. People used to throw big items like bicycle, TV out of windows and caused injuries and government stepped in to confiscate the apartment from whomever throwing large items.

I super miss Singapore. This country has an appeal to me that I can't explain. Even though I have visited more than 5 times already I still wanna go back.

Malaysian here, my father's two sisters and one brother lived in Singapore for more than 30 years. Since I was small, I visited there with my family at the end of every year (except 2020 and 2021 because of the pandemic). Until this day, I am still amazed how modern, beautiful and clean of a country Singapore is. I really can't wait to get a job and live there after my university graduation.

Do you mean those public housing residential areas? We call those void decks. The design was made for the 2nd generation of public housing (i believe). Its purpose was to create space and allow people to congregate and mingle. We use the void decks to host weddings, and even funerals etc.

Every prophet in the Bible saw a person. Isaiah 6:1 says, "In the year of the death of king Uzziah, I saw the Lord sitting upon a very high throne;" Jeremiah 1 says, " Jehovah spoke to me and put forth his hand and touched my mouth…" But what about your religious leaders? They are all scammers.
16 And when your religious leaders say to you, "A voice said to me…", you are afraid to ask them where that voice comes from because you are children of the devil and Salvation after death means nothing to you. But all the children of God among you will come to me.

The fine/penalty for littering is a whopping $2000 over there, it's been that way for several decades now. Seems like a crazy policy, but it definitely works--people simply _don't_ litter if the risk is that high. It's so simple... and yet no one else is doing it. (Except for Rwanda, which has since become the cleanest country in all of Africa.)
