My wife and I spent 3 days exploring Paris and it wasn't nearly enough time. Seriously you could spend 3 weeks there visiting all the big sites. We saw Notre Dame about 2 weeks before the fire. The best day we had was just leaving the hotel with no plan on where we were going and ended up just walking around the city, truly spectacular.
Paris is maybe the archetype of the lush European city. The highest tier of such. Being there just changes your physical feeling due to just how incredible that city is.

I'm not ranting I'm telling it how it is.. in Australia they have many getaway ( holidays) tv shows about overseas destinations, 95% of the shows talk about going to new York, Paris, London, or any other destination on earth, all they do is talk about eating burgers, drinking coffee, oh you have to come to new York to try the monster cheese burger and wash it down with a Yonkers latte. What fly from Sydney to new York just to try the monster burger, I don't need to spend $5000 just to eat and drink coffee half way around the world,, I just walk down the road, spend %15.00 dollars and save $ 4985.00 dollars.. Paris looks beautiful and plenty of activity despite still being effected by covid. What strikes me are the number of people actually engaged in conversation, taking in life and not glued to their phones.
I love watching these kind of videos, and I can't stop thinking how nice it is that people are taking time out of their busy day to walk around recording, and then editing, posting videos, and even making captions. Thank you for your efforts!
Compared to here in America, there are so many people out walking, and they're not overweight!. The quaint streets and cafes are so charming and inviting, it is no wonder that people are out all the time. And even in the bicycling segment, there were amazingly few cars for a large city. Where do those people in the cafes come from? Do they all bicycle or take the subway there, or do they live around the corner? They're not home watching a fake culture on TV, they're out there LIVING the culture! I can see why there was such pressure to relax the lockdown if daily life out on the streets is so appealing. It is wonderful to see city life like this. If I visit I might not want to come back!
I used to live in the north area of Paris, near la Gare du Nord, almost 20 years ago, I can't believe how much the driving lanes have changed in the heart of Paris, especially near la rue de Rivoli, near Le Louvre. Early 90ies and 2000, all the lanes were for the cars, now the atmosphere has completely changed for the better with the bicycle lanes, It is much quieter and i guess less polluted. Exploring Paris as a tourist must be even better now . However for those who have to use their car in paris, that must be very diiffcult now.
The contrary. When you remove throughput of cars there is less traffic and those that actually need to use car (shops, disabled people and service vehicles) can get through without worry

I couldn't believe how you could whiz in and out of traffic and sidewalks on the e-bike at the end of the evening in Paris and still keep the camera so level. A few years ago, I flew to Morocco to meet my girlfriend. My route was to go to Morocco via France, and I went out of the airport at Paris, to show her 'Le Mur des Je t'aime'. Everything was written in French so I didn't know where to go, but I took the subway and searched online and eventually found it. On the way back to the airport after leaving a padlock in the corner of the park to check with her later, the burgers I ate back then, the street musicians, the smell of bread filling the streets... I still remember that time. I haven't checked whether the lock is still in good condition, but she is my wife. haha 😄😄😄

I'm a new subscriber to your channel. And I had to write and say how much I enjoyed this video. As a person who is disabled, and can't walk as well or as long as I would like to. This was very liberating. I felt like I was walking with you. I'm sure you were absolutely exhausted after this day. Of all that walking, I couldn't even do half of what you did. Let me tell you what I enjoyed. First, I enjoyed that you stopped at all the historic Catholic Churches and gave a description of them. I really enjoyed that the most. The walk was very good, and I could see the life going on. I was shocked by the lack of face masks and social distancing. And even the bike ride at the end was very enjoyable. For somebody who was exhausted, you really could go at a pretty good clip on that bike. One suggestion though. When you're doing your walking, if you can occasionally pan the left and right more often, so we can see the different buildings and things that would be great. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to the next video.

Compared to here in America, there are so many people out walking, and they're not overweight!. The quaint streets and cafes are so charming and inviting, it is no wonder that people are out all the time. And even in the bicycling segment, there were amazingly few cars for a large city. Where do those people in the cafes come from? Do they all bicycle or take the subway there, or do they live around the corner? They're not home watching a fake culture on TV, they're out there LIVING the culture! I can see why there was such pressure to relax the lockdown if daily life out on the streets is so appealing. It is wonderful to see city life like this. If I visit I might not want to come back!

I used to live in the north area of Paris, near la Gare du Nord, almost 20 years ago, I can't believe how much the driving lanes have changed in the heart of Paris, especially near la rue de Rivoli, near Le Louvre. Early 90ies and 2000, all the lanes were for the cars, now the atmosphere has completely changed for the better with the bicycle lanes, It is much quieter and i guess less polluted. Exploring Paris as a tourist must be even better now .
However for those who have to use their car in paris, that must be very diiffcult now.
The contrary. When you remove throughput of cars there is less traffic and those that actually need to use car (shops, disabled people and service vehicles) can get through without worry
There's no need for a car in Paris to begin with.

Le tracé des rues était particulièrement frappant, il y avait une section séparée pour les cyclistes à travers la ville en plus de la voiture, du bus et du sentier pédestre, qui était non seulement très animé mais aussi offert suffisamment d'espace. All touristic side of every European towns are the same. Shops, restaurants, people walking or eating. I prefer the business side of Paris or the must elegant Place Vendôme.

I couldn't believe how you could whiz in and out of traffic and sidewalks on the e-bike at the end of the evening in Paris and still keep the camera so level. Our Gov made a new Law 5 months ago , making it easy to convert shops to ACC. They have no intention of helping to re open any of those shops again . The UK is finished completely ,especially after end of Sept. when Furlough ends . There will be many millions of people Jobless and Homeless .

A few years ago, I flew to Morocco to meet my girlfriend. My route was to go to Morocco via France, and I went out of the airport at Paris, to show her 'Le Mur des Je t'aime'. Everything was written in French so I didn't know where to go, but I took the subway and searched online and eventually found it. On the way back to the airport after leaving a padlock in the corner of the park to check with her later, the burgers I ate back then, the street musicians, the smell of bread filling the streets... I still remember that time. I haven't checked whether the lock is still in good condition, but she is my wife. haha 😄😄😄

I'm a new subscriber to your channel. And I had to write and say how much I enjoyed this video. As a person who is disabled, and can't walk as well or as long as I would like to. This was very liberating. I felt like I was walking with you. I'm sure you were absolutely exhausted after this day. Of all that walking, I couldn't even do half of what you did. Let me tell you what I enjoyed. First, I enjoyed that you stopped at all the historic Catholic Churches and gave a description of them. I really enjoyed that the most. The walk was very good, and I could see the life going on. I was shocked by the lack of face masks and social distancing. And even the bike ride at the end was very enjoyable. For somebody who was exhausted, you really could go at a pretty good clip on that bike. One suggestion though. When you're doing your walking, if you can occasionally pan the left and right more often, so we can see the different buildings and things that would be great. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to the next video.

As far as the bike goes, it was an e-bike to it was doing most of the work, but yeah, I was pretty tired and sore. :) Italy just opened back up again this week so I hope to get out and film some new content soon.
