LOL at the start of the video when you said “at my locals”. I laughed, “wait a second that’s my locals in Toronto 🤣”

Great video 👍, I am new to Weiss and your videos have been very informative. Do you have methods to identify and upgrade trial decks to make them better?

What topic do you want to see me cover on the next Weiss video?

I don't think most topic I can think about would be good for your channel ? (Tier list, metagame changes...)

@@clemspartan I wanna avoid temporary content (meta tier list evolve with the meta, wont be useful in a year)
But I'm definitly considering this format for things like best lvl 3 secondary effect, best lvl 1 combo climax, etc

As a new player i want to be able to know if a set as a whole is good or bad, to know if is better to buy the playset for múltiple deck or just 1 deck for the love to the anime

2:41 I guess it doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things, but that's an example of trait tax, where some abilities used to be costed higher when they dealt with more common and/or multiple traits. Not super obvious with that ability, since it looks like the only other card with it from the trait tax era was NJ/WE11-20, but easier to see with drop searches, like AW/S18-E010, which is 500 power smaller than the Kirito since it can search for either Avatar or Net rather than just Avatar.

@@alexandermccabe4461 yeah, I found some examples of Music tax while making research
It's not a thing anymore nowadays so I didnt want to put in too much info about it, just a way to say "be careful, powercreep in weiss exists"

See, despite the Katara being overall worse I still run two copies of her in my azula deck. My playgroup runs a lot of decks that exploit markers, and even some of my decks use em so its an effect that comes up far more often for me personally. Do I reccomend it for locals? Definitly not. But I see success with it because of how my playgroup plays the game

Yeah I could have mentionned that, if a card is very situational but is a perfect answer to things in your environment (I assume 5HY Miku or post ban Overlord), then it gets a good use case and becomes playable
I'll make sure to mention that in the "how to build decks" video

The most important thing about deck building is looking at the JP list because 99% of the time, the sets have been out for over a year, and everyone kinda knows how it's going to play. Or you're at locals on day one of en release, and people are complaining that they've been playing that deck for months. xD
