As a retired investor who's fairly active in the market, I get tired of many CNBC contributors saying how strong the economy is. Really? There are layoffs occurring even in tech (not to mention how many jobs A.I. will destroy), and it's not slowing down. Consumer credit card debt is at an all-time high, auto repos are climbing, the saving's rate is dropping, inflation is killing the middle class, yet all anyone can see is consumer credit spending remaining strong with money people don't really have since us Americans tend to not want to lower our insatiable thirst for spending. It's going to be interesting the next few years.
Whomever is looking at this now, especially after very good earnings from Google and Microsoft, just HOLD, unless of course if you are a Trader, but you play a different game. DO NOT try to out think the Market, you will lose like I did about a year ago. If I were smart a year ago, I would be up double where I am now and going on vacation. Lesson Learn and just passing it along to others who are wrestling with doubts. Fear can make you do stupid things.

The primary cause of inflation right now is the out of control price increases. You can see the in the flat ppi with the cpi running hot
