    • @MyRegardsToTheDodo
      @MyRegardsToTheDodo 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's mostly those small things that damage more expensive items (mainly pecause of penny pinching during the design period). Back when the PS4 came out the trigger buttons on the (back then quite expensive) PS4 controllers wore out because Sony decided to save a fraction of a cent on each by removing some silicone. You could get one relatively cheap on ebay, they were fixable with a dot of silicone (the stuff used to seal gaps in bathrooms).

    That is without a doubt a Reskin of the ZTE Axon 7 which was an awesome budget flagship killer. Was a huge fan of that phone as it was so cheap and was fast as a Galaxy S7 which was THE android phone at the time.
    Really popular for the developers, budget phones and had very decent overall specs, for me the phone's Lamborghini theming is a bit intense but it's honestly still an Axon7 sort of kills the point of the original model tho being sold for thousands on release.
    Awesome display, Awesome speakers processor is a bit dated for now but it's honestly still a iconic device for any android enthusiast
    If you are curios with the software you might be able to see if anything from the XDA forum is compatible as I am sure it's just an Axon7 with a built in theme.
    But it's good to see you fixed on up, great job as always mate.

    Oh man. talk about a potential return on investment if you want to sell it down the line. Beyond the potential monetary value, this is a prime example of how much we might avoid throwing away or wasting if we had just some basic troubleshooting and tinkering skills. Who knows how many electronic devices have been thrown away, assumed "dead", when in fact all they needed was a tiny sliver of plastic in the right place, or a replaced bit of foam or rubber. :)
    Love your vids. Thanks for sharing these experiences with us.

    Nice work Vince! I think I remember the iPhone 4 had a similar issue with the power button, it would also wear out, you’re so smart tho, that piece of plastic is so genius and even if that bowl was sitting in front of me I wouldn’t have thought about that! Such a fascinating fix beyond impressed and entertained the whole time
