Filming Location for Top Gun: Maverick

TOP GUN: Thrilling sights and sounds over the home we are staying in alongside Puget Sound here in Coupeville, Washington.
Naval Air Station Whidbey Island conducted low-level flight training routes literally right above us.
This area was used in “Top Gun: Maverick” during the climatic fighter jet scenes showing snow-capped ridges and peaks.
Later, we drove a couple of miles to a short runway to watch the pilots exercise touch-and-go training, simulating landing on an aircraft carrier.
Absolutely incredible experience last night and this morning. 🇺🇸
