Fantastic job. Am at stage 92, just received a replacement part for a missing lens on a rear light. Can't wait to finish. Love it. Thank you for your great videos to help me along the way!
Absolutely lovely model. Thanks for sharing Wayne! I worked for a company called Wireless Wave, owned by Glentel. The owner of Glentel was a big Cobra fan, actually owned a ‘65 Cobra. He was so enamoured by the car that every store had a front half replica in it. (Had to clean and dust it every day!). The kiosks had the front and back end (about 8” each) on each end of the kiosks! Anyway they looked great! Happy days and model on! 😎
Again one of my all time favourite cars. What a great model, well engineerd, amazing paintwork, obviously straightforward to build. Perfect Job Wayne! 👏👍
This is off topic, but can I just admire your work ethic for a moment? I subscribed to you Patreon like 2 days ago (which is well worth it, btw), and already you've updated the splash card at the end? Astounding. Now go build something else!
Looks great! Pro Tip: get some Nu Finish car polish and wax the model like you would a normal car. It will help keep dust off it and make it sparkle in the light just like a real car.
My friend has a Cobra kit car, it's stunning and very similar colour and details to this model. 6.4 litre engine the thing is rapid and sounds like a beast, i had a little drive... Its a scary monster 😂. It's a head turner for sure. When he sells it I'll persuade him to make this as a memento 😁
Its an utterly beautifull model, hope to get one one day, but there are just a couple of things that slightly irk me, one is the bum high attitude, and the side pipes dont look like they are correctly positioned and stick out at the front too far, both of which the originals don't have, so i plan to buy perhaps a damaged model, lower the rear end to correct position and repaint, and re position the sidepipes, plus add a few missing engine details. Overall a superb model, thankyou for showing it!
Looks great. I'm at pack 7 or 8, don't remember. This and the Jaguar are both going to look very nice when done. So far been enjoying these builds. I'm less than 3 months from retirement so I'll need to start up a few more once that happens to keep me busy. No idea where I'll store all these, but I'll find places for them. Thanks again for another great video. Really enjoying your channel and content.
Another stunning well put together model, I was thinking about other models to do, I've seen the truck from smoky and the bandit the big Kenworth from Tamiya but it was a radio-controlled vehicle, I've got the full build for it saved somewhere, to be honest with you Wayne I donk think its any more complicated than anything you have done already, so is that something you would consider doing? It probably is about the same expense too if not a little cheaper. Seeing that truck with a black trans am would be spectacular. Glad to have you back on full power, all the best from Ayrshire.
😂😂 wow that took a long time but we finally got to see the final build! Good job Wayne 👍🏻 Did you know if only took Shelby 12 weeks on average to build what it took you and Agora nearly a year to build?
I recently completed my Shelbe Cobra model as well. Just waiting for the display base to arrive here in the US. Did the coffee table book come with the base? I don't recall it being offered with my model.
When I was in my early 20s, was lucky to have the use of an original AC Cobra for a day. Its was an amazing experience. A car in the early 80s that could accelerate 0 to 100 in under 10 seconds. Even today its only supercars that do this.
i love the 1/8 builds but 1 thing is the sound.... always cheap sound. they could put a speaker in a small box in it. then you would get a better sound with bass
Hmmm, seems you have the fuel cap lock fitted the wrong way. Check the new instructions on their website. Why do you have a little screwdriver in the trunk?
So is the book included with the regular subscription also, or just only included if you purchase the limited edition subscription? The website doesn't say. It just talks about the book. I wish they would say kinda how Eaglemoss did it, showing everything that's included in the subscription. Just curious on this, since I can't work on the Eleanor, i figured I'd start this one, but also do the 12 month subscription instead of the 24 month.
Does the book come at the end of the packs? Because I'm looking at some of those photos and thinking it would be really useful as reference to paint in extra details on the engine as you're building it
@@WorldofWayneUK shame. It would be nice to get at the beginning. BTW, I just got CoVid so I'm stuck inside isolating and watched every one of these Shelby videos today. Moving on to your Bismark videos. I'll probably buy the Bismark.
I finished my Cobra a while ago and to be honest it was a disaster as none of the electrics worked. I can only assume it has a faulty main board. The biggest criticism was leaving electrics testing until the car was almost complete. Additionally despite numerous promises from Agora I still have not received my coffee table book.
I have the same issue Keith, none of the electrics is working and it was diagnosed a short circuit. I don't feel like taking the car apart again. Also my base stand was broken and still awaiting the replacement. Agora can surely do a better job than this.
@@wimvancoillie3036 you don’t have to take the car apart. I had an issue with some electrics not working. I didn’t want to take the car apart so I got some large sprue cutters and literally cut the drive shaft off the car. This gave me access to all the plugs to check connections. I then returned the drive shaft and glued in to place
@@WorldofWayneUK Thank you. All I have to say is that I am very impressed and amazed with Agora Models customer service. I have never purchased a model from them before, and when I asked them about being able to get the display stand without the upfront cost, they said unfortunately no but are willing to hold on to one for me until I can afford it! That is customer service.
Wayne, I need your opinion, I purchased the Limited Edition AC Shelby Cobra, 130 of of 427. Should I retain the shipping pack boxes? Or toss them. Thanks in advance..

Love the opening beauty shot with the Jaws diorama in the background. Sort of a triumph over tragedy moment.

That's awesome... The book for Bismarck is incredible too. I doubt I'll do any car builds but it is beautiful

Something to look forward to. Hope mine turns out as excellent as yours! I just completed Pack 3 - Stage 31. Pack 4 & 5 due in a couple of days.

What a lovely car and a nice base and book

The only thing is missing now is a plexiglas cover to place over the base.

Yes it came just after my base delivery
Shelby Cobra 🇺🇸

Mustangs, Cadillac CTS, charger 392, challenger srt 392 from 2013 and more hit 100mph in 9-10 seconds.
And the AC Cobra recorded a time of 10.3 when it hit 100mph.
Nice build , but with the large " hole " in the front , it kinda looks like it's missing a front grille 🤔
you need to get some display cases, I can see the dust.
