I'm considering ordering a Frontier SV LWB, but I'm on the fence. It's a decent upgrade from the previous model, which I owned (twice), but there are a few basic features missing from this trim that are real head scratches. There are no heated seats in the LWB even though the previous model had them. LED headlights are not available. Sunroof is not available. There is no excuse for omitting these basic features on a nearly $40k truck. I like the new Frontier but I'm not sure if it's worth the much higher price. The best thing the previous Frontier had going for it was its excellent value, which is now gone.
I just bought a 2022 frontier s crew cab same color as this one - I love it 😀 I've had it a couple weeks it's very fast and drives very nice. I traded a 2020 Outlander for it. The steering and transmission get better after a few hundred miles
Got my Frontier SV 4X4 this past Thursday! Rides like a dream! Super smooth transmission and it’s got some giddy up with that 310 HP. I’m 6 ft tall and this truck is deceptively larger than it looks in videos. It’s almost the same size as some older full size trucks. Haven’t tried the 4WD yet but we’re about to get hit with a huge snowstorm so I’ll test it out soon enough. You get used to the hydraulic steering after a few days. Cabin heats up quick despite not having rear vents
Why the Ford Ranger with the vaunted 4 Banger? Not to mention it’ll shut off when you come to a stop unless you disable that function upon startup. Give me a non turbo 6 banger any day.
I bought a used 22’ Frontier SV with 21k on it. I’m loving it, except for the cruise control. I might have to have that looked at, it doesn’t always hold the speed. The 4x4 works well, this is my first Frontier. 👍

Good points but like everything prices go up, the updates are nice but if it’s missing feature you need, you may want to change trims 👍🏻
i agree with your value assessment except Sunroof break or get faulty a lot..dont care which manufaturer..one less thing to worry about

Congratulations with you new truck they are great vehicles and thanks for your insight 👍🏻
I suppose it needs a little wear down n oil change b4 it drives smooth.
Thank you for watching today’s review let me know what you think in the comments.
Purchase my 2024 SV a few months ago and I'm loving it. It's the same color as the truck in your video.
@@nikonmark37814 that’s awesome thank you for sharing Mark and Congratulations.

Looks bigger then a taco.

The EcoBoost engine is Fords bread and butter
@@HawkeyeRides ..maybe it’s bread and butter but a turbo won’t last anywhere near as long as a naturally aspirated engine will.
I agree
dont know if I will buy one of these new, but I am almost 100% getting one soon.
Second hand is always better

We need nissan frontier lifited with nissan gtr nismo engine and nismo aftermarket parts in it
That would be 👍🏻
I love my S model, awesome power. Looks cool. I cant believe they complain about the power steering, I grew up with no power steering. Such wimps.😂😂
I agree, nothing wrong with a little weight 👍
Love my 22 Pro 4X in Baja Sand Pearl!
They are great trucks, congratulations the Pro 4x is the way to go 👍🏻
Nice review of a great product!
Thank you 👍🏻
The towing against the tacoma is a big step, my v6 taco can barely tow anything 2500lb on 5th gear.
The redesign brings a lot of nice changes 👍
Wonder if it's an upgrade from a 99 sonoma sls. Lol.
Of choice 👍🏻
