My wife owns a 22 Bronco Sport (Badlands, 4 cyl). It has considerably better acceleration than my 21 Frontier Pro 4X. I, for one, would not mind a turbo for my Frontier. When going over 60 mph the Frontier's acceleration performance is pitiful. One review I read said the 310 HP engine was designed to increase performance, and they used the gas direct injection to increase fuel efficiency, but ultimately failed to do either. That conclusion has certainly been true for my 21 Frontier.
Living here in Chicago that tailgate would be stolen in the first month. I’d imagine NY, Miami, LA, Atlanta etc has the same problem. Price a tailgate & you will see why they do it.
I have a 2023 Pro X. I've had no issues with fit and finish. I don't like that is doesn't have a telescopic steering wheel. With regards to your screen, it must be as you said first new updates on models have their issues.
Great video! Are they still forcing the garbage offroad recovery backpack on all Pro4x models? Its like $70 worth of amazon crap they charge $500 for and when I was looking at frontiers it appeared to be a mandatory item.
Thank you very much for watching. Yes the driver seat is a power seat. I don’t think it’s a matter of when it powers up or powers down. I believe it to be when the switch is activated. That’s the only way the power goes to the motor is the connection in the switch.
Try the old fashioned way of finding your gas mileage. Divide the number of miles traveled by the number of gallons of gas your vehicle took to refill. In sum, that's miles driven divided by gallons of gas used. The truck readings probably are not accurate.
I have a 2019 frontier and one of my pet peeves is the tailgate locks separately. I have to use a key to lock and unlock. I wish the remote would unlock it….
Ha ha ha ha ha, I get it. I like to drive with the window down and even in town my dash gets a little dusty. It’s not dirt just dust if you know what I mean. Trust me that wasn’t the reason why the radio didn’t work. Sides I don’t have that truck anymore. I really appreciate the comment and thank you very much for watching.
This was an awesome review. Secret Lumbar support -- I'm also 6'4 and no ever mentions tall guy problems. I went to sit in one today and getting in was not comfortable. (sitting is fine -- I enjoy the head room, but the getting in is still a pain. Maybe if I add a 2'' inch lift it will feel better.
Hi Pancakes, I have a '23 P4X and it's perfect. No issues or niggles at all. Parking Paul was not an issue, no buzzing, no issue with the rear door. It's night and day. ( although the seat button has not changed)... I'm stepping out with the P4X steps so I don't hit that button. I can see that being an issue for some. The tailgate lock is still doing that! I may remove the lock... good Idea. The radio screen is not giving me any issues... working perfectly. First year issues suck.... maybe you should trade for a '24?
Two of the biggest effects on gas mileage that a lot of people don't really look at or think when getting bad mileage is tire weight more than size and air pressure.
Thank you. That is why I never let them take my Titan apart. They called me all of the time to schedule that. I since traded it in on a 24 Frontier Pro4X.
I bought a 2023 Pro 4X back in Jan and everything you mentioned and have not one issue with except one....THAT F**KIN SEAT ADJUSTMENT BUTTONS ARE THE WORST!!! I thought I was going crazy the first month driving this truck. Every time I start driving I'm like how did my seat get moved?...lol Finally figured out that it was me just me doing this by getting in and out. It is a terrible design and very frustrating everyday that I have to readjust my seat. I'm glad knowing this now and that it ain't just me...haha
Hello, glad if I helped. If you put a small switch inline with the power to the seat. You could put the seat where you want it and just flip the switch and kill the power to the seat motor. Thank you for watching.
If u have all these issues take it back to the dealer. I had nissan pickups since 1981 and I never had any issues at all. Just bought a 2024 just like yours except diff color and I love it.
The mileage calculator is not accurate. For me it always overestimates the real mileage. I just fill up then drive and when I fill up again I divide the driven miles on the odometer by the amount of gallons it took to fill it back up. Getting 18-19 tops
True, I have a 2023 SV 4wd crew cab and it’s consistently 3 mpg worse when I calculate it than what the computer says. My wife just got a new Honda CRV and every time I’ve checked it it’s 2-3 mpg worse than the computer says too, so I’m guessing that’s pretty common across all manufacturers.
I respect your opinion, but I don’t have a topper and probably never will. Also, it is only on the trucks with the convenience package I believe. With out the convenience package you have to lock it with the key, like a normal truck. If you can lock it with a key then why make it more complicated. Just my thoughts. Thank you very much for watching and sharing.

Thank you very much for watching. I agree you don’t miss it if you don’t have it. I don’t need any of that tack I just like the remote start is basically it. I suppose I could buy that from A third-party.
You clearly have a defective radio. That's not a Nissan design thing (and of course a Nissan QC issue). You should have had it replaced under warranty.
Thank you for watching! I agree. But it is hard to show the dealer, even with video. You know, it all way seems to be working just fine when it goes in the shop.
Sounds like you should have gotten a S trim. I have king cab S 4x4 no power seats no auto lock tailgate. Quickly there is a tech bulletin out to reprogram the cruise control also holding the power button on the radio while it’s on for 15 seconds will reboot your radio and probably solve the radio issue.
The ‘22 can be just as good as the ‘24 with simple software updates. Plus, the ‘22 doesn’t have start/stop bullshit. There really hasn’t been any changes at all between ‘22 to ‘24. If anything, they take stuff away as the years go by; for example, the ‘24 no longer has a 12-volt plug in the center console like the ‘22’s.
On the 23s the seat still does that. Countless times in the morning I got into my truck and the seat was all the way! “Freaky as hell!” Good money in tailgates! No problems with the entertainment center.
Got a 2024 pro-4x, waiting to bring it in for warranty work. Truck vibrates on the highway 70-80 mph. Other than that and the stupid engine auto shutoff switch that has to be turned off everytime I start the truck is great. The rear auto braking when going in reverse is a pain in the ass too lol
Things I hate about my 2022. 1. I hate the accelerator pause. I hate the fact that the computer needs to think about what I want to do. Nothing like the old analog accelerator pedals. 2. I have a shell on my. There's no seals to keep road dust from getting inside the bed of the truck.
