The main purpose of the DEI wrap is to b protect the battery from heat from the engine. The silver surface reflects a high percentage of the radiant heat. It's a big stretch to say it used to keep the battery warm.. that's minimal.... You could combine it with the temo wrap as you mentioned.
There is a readily-distinguishable difference between a heat source and a heat shield. My guess is the author of this video did not take physics in the course of their education.
Ya I've seen a bunch of people think they were to keep the battery warm without plugging in a battery blanket. Reflective side is going to reflect heat, not retain it.
To keep battery warm is best by remove battery connector because heat leak through cable is important first then puut completly cover it with blanket and use extra supper capacitor battery back up for sure start up
I think the TEMRO are better. The leather covering of the KATZ warmer melted in the hot weather of summer. What I mean by hot weather is 35C in the summer, and then it did not work any more. I have the 80WattTEMRO in another car for 4 years now and it works amazing !!!!

Or use peltier cell to invert cold to charge and warm battery at the same time
