    Got the 2017 GLS manual version and it does better than 10-11km/l on the city, the worst i got is 13km/l if you dont drive it like you're in a hurry. I usually keep the rpm below 2k.

      The Mirage G4 GLX and GLS as well as the all new Sport model offer various differences such as convenience features, safety features and even bodykits in order to help the customer customize their cars according to their needs and budget! If you ask someone like me I always would go for either the mid or low end variant for the low price and then install aftermarket parts later!

      That’s awesome!!! While “enthusiasts” don’t give this car much thought, at the end of the day, it’s a reliable little sedan that can take you and your family anywhere with proper peace of mind. Sure you can get a second hand car, that will start 9 times out of 10 but why not 10/10? - Roy

    The CVT is the star of the show?!?! Thumbs down right away. The CVT may give it slightly better economy but it also brings out the worst NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) of the 3-cylinder engine. The inherent rubber band power delivery of the CVT makes for a very unsophisticated experience especially compared to all the other cars in the segment including those like the Vios and City that also use CVTs. They inject a level of smoothness into their CVTs by adding artificial steps, mimicking gears, into their CVT programming. Mitsubishi could take a lesson from their competitors.

    • @ZigWheelsPhilippines
      @ZigWheelsPhilippines  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I totally understand and agree with all your points about CVT and how companies try their best to improve on the technology. That's why I was pretty surprised to actually like the unit on the Mirage G4! So much that I had to just highlight it. Thanks for your comment!

    • @tripleh9940
      @tripleh9940 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ZigWheelsPhilippines hopefully you’ll be able to test drive it real world conditions (Manila traffic and the Tito run to Baguio) to see if the CVT is really a star. A low speed run around a parking lot is probably the sweet spot for the CVT.

      @cjandrino9894 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Overpriced si mirage. Haha. At same price sir, lamang na sa specs and power si vios. Binago lang mukha, binigyan na ng ganyang price.
      Disappointed talaga ako kase inantay ko talaga yan since last year. Sa ibang bansa, tiptronic na din transmission nya kaya fun to drive pa rin. Sa vios, at that price range, tiptronic na sha.
      Sana nman nissan almera, gandahan nila facelift nila. Sama na nìla iba specs ng thai almera. Aantayin ko muna yun.

      @markjavier8157 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@cjandrino9894 I agree with everything you mentioned. Re the Almera, hope Nissan will do much better than Mitsubishi.
      Going back to the Mirage G4, I'm still wondering how Mitsubishi sold more than 8k units of it last year, while Honda only sold 3k+ units of the much better City ☹️

    • @cjandrino9894
      @cjandrino9894 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think last year, and gang ngayon nga, madami promos inooffer si mitsubishi para kay mirage kaya madami din na.convince bumili.
      Tulad din ng ginagawa now ni nissan kay almera. Hahaha. Everytime na i ask questions about updates para facelifted almera and mirage dati, oofferran ako low to zero dp promos nila. Jokingly, sinasagot ko nman, minamadali nyo lang talaga mabenta almera and mirage nyo. Kase parang totoo nman.
      Malayo sa itsura talaga yung previous mirage kesa sa mirage na to. Same sa new look ng almera, malayo talaga. Kaya siguro nag.overprice sila atleast if gusto ng clients nila ng budget sedans, dun na muna sila sa old look hanggang maubos yung mga unit na yun. Haha. Kaso sa ibang brand at that price, marami ka na makukuha na mas maganda eh. Kaya, tsss, so sad.

    • @markjavier8157
      @markjavier8157 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@cjandrino9894 A ok Sir, thank u for the info 👍 I want nman sana for the G4 to succeed bec the model is Phil made. Ang gripe ko lng talaga s Mitsubishi ay overpriced siya tapos ang daming features (esp safety features) na wala, compared s Vios and City. Tapos 1.2 3 cylinder engine lang, sobrang pag-shortchange ng Mitsubishi s customers ☹️
