- We've already seen the differences between the old and the 2022 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 when we had our Quick Look on it. But will the new things give it a different driving experience? We took one out for an extended time to see if the new Mirage G4 can carry the torch. And of course, to answer this burning question - is it worth the money?

Wow!!! ALL NEW!!! ALL NEW BUMPERS, HEAD UNIT AND WHEELS.. But still the very same 3 cyl. 1.2 engine and same thin sheet of metal. Same door na mahirap isara. Same interiors.. Tapos mas mahal!

First time car buyers won't care about 3 cyl , 1.2 engine. They will choose cars based on their budgets, design preference, brand preference, and interior features.

G4 2022 owner here in UAE. . Tinipid nila yung headlights and tail lights ng full option dahil yung saken naka projector led lights lahat.
Laki daw kasi nang tax dito sa pinas. Kaya kumbaga e medyo downgraded para kahit papano hindi ganun ka mahal or kataas magiging price dito sa pinas
With that price though I'd rather get the better looking, and better engine base AT variant of Almera. Ang layu ng itsura, engine, saka tech features.

600-700k nalang yang mirage 2022 kaya wala ka talo dahil kapag nag 100 pesos na per liter ang fuel madami mag iiyakan at hahalakhalak ang mga gumagamit ng fuel efficient na sasakyan
iniisip ko kung alin sa Mirage G4, Vios XLE or City S ang magiging first car ko. Leaning towards City S ako or Vios XLE. Kung nasa 840k-860k sana ung price range ng TOTL ng Mirage G4 mas ok sana.

For the price point, you might want to consider the Honda City or the Toyota Vios.
@RRM new Almera. Vios is just meh.
@RRM If you can afford a Civic, much better if you will replace it with a Corolla Altis.
@@voodoodiecast The new Almera has good reviews. However, most reviewers have common gripes. And that would be the transmission and engine performance output.
For me (my opinion) the Almera is underpowered compared to the City and Vios. I prefer engine performance over aesthetics and technology of a car.

You would have to be out of your mind to buy a brand new Mirage G4 for 800k pesos. The specs, performance, and quality is more in line with a Wigo instead of a Vios. Literally every other sedan in this price is better. If for some reason you want a Mirage so badly (please rethink your decision), look for the biggest discount that you can because it is absolutely not worth its SRP.
I bought an Accent 1.4gl (since vios/mirage ung pinagpilian ko). Yung accent same price with this Mirage. Okay naman decision ko no? So far solid sya e
I literally have no idea kung ano pa ang mas okay kesa sa mirage. I am about to get the 2022 gls. If there is another option that has push start, keyless entry and stuff. I would definitely ditch the mirage. Any help?
@@biancaq4422 I’m also about to buy the GLS 2022 and I’m having doubts now because it’s receiving a lot of hates :(( the price is also not that cheap na kasi compared to the older models.
@@hannahfaithdeleon1857 the xpander also received lots of backlash based on reviews. But my family bought one, and never had any problems with it. I already got a gls 2022, no regrets so far. If u want safe and secured driving, go for mitsu.
@@biancaq4422 just get the base city if budget is the problem, push start, keyless should be the least of your concerns when buying an entry level car

ako din, napansin ko yung height ng sapatos nya na parang pang female na sa taas, then yung nagreview na sya sa passenger seat, I think hindi totoong 5'7 sya kasi ang taas pa ng clearance sa ulo e, tingin ko 5'3 lang sya, kaya siguro kung may pasehero ka na 5'9 to 6ft kasya padin for sure.

Agree, this mirage was not my family's first choice. We were hoping to get an approval for the Hyundai Accent (diesel for everyday long drive), but didn't get an approval from the bank. Getting the mirage was easy, fast arrangement and release.

Sobrang tipid, di ka magsisi. For the price point, it gives you your money's value. Marami nagsasabi na overpriced, etc but for the features and against competitors, okay na rin plus you help the local manufacturing industry as it is made in the philippines.

Honda City best to choose.
Not worth the price. Door handles and headlights/tail lights still old looking. For prices around 900k get honda city S/V cvt (day and night difference V variant w cruise control) or if you want cheaper get vios.
Or get Suzuki Dzire or Ciaz mas maganda pa ang porma..

Overrated car. Dzire has ac vents for the rear pasenger considering di yung gawa sa pinas. Eto gawang pinas binarat naman🤣🤣🤣

This mirage's AC unit can cool the entire interior within seconds. Missing rear passenger vents not a deal breaker for me.

The most not-worth-the-price car. If you are new to owning a car, yes, at first you wouldn't mind its engine and simple offerings, but the more you learn about cars, the more you'll realize na parang nagpauto ka pag ito ang kinuha mong 4-wheels as you pay more for less. The only crap in its class, really.

What, may mirage g4 2016 ako same engine. Travelling every month since then and no issues din, arankada talo pa nga mga pick up diyan. Although mas gusto ko parin Honda city, mirage g4 ay di behind. Parking ng mga SM? Ezpz yan.
