Brevi brani, grandi emozioni!! J.S.

This is the most perfect interpretation. Everything is right, the organ, the stops used, and last but not least, the organist himself.

Well voiced and played to achieve utmost clarity of the polyphonic lines. Tempo and dynamics are well suited to the contemplative and devotional nature of the hymn. Well done!

I can't believe that this is a new organ only 100-150 years old. It is amazing, like a Haarlem Silberman organ . Wow !

Gran interpretación de BWV 768: una de las piezas por órgano de J. S. Bach que más me gusta. Gracias por compartirla.

Very interesting results on an organ that does not have mixture stops.

Thanks Marcelo, the back story is that I was asked to record this organ after a restoration in 2005 for a local classical music station. This particular piece just seemed to suit the organ so well. I'm very well aware (after playing many organs including more than one Silbermann) of what this instrument is. I hope, it's instructive of how to play Bach as authentically as possible on a non Baroque organ. Thanks so much for listening and commenting! Please check out some of the other videos on this channel. Best wishes from Melbourne, Australia.

El tempo de la décima variación es TAN despacio que casi suena hipnótico! ME ENCANTA!!!

Fabulous! Beautiful playing and I am curious about the instrument which sounds amazingly bright and clear for 1892, of course the best stop is the acoustic.

A fantastic music which, although imbued with an undeniable religiosity, can be tasted and appreciated by people far removed from transcendental and religious premises. This sound architecture here is above all a therapy for the senses. These echoes of darkness which inhabit us and which we deny, reminiscences of time immemorial where Lilith - before Eve - consoled Adam, voice of the splendid Nature that the proud bipeds despise unjustly, lyrical lament of organs abandoned in ruined chapels. The unfolding of these melodies delivers us a moment from our chains and delights the soul by propelling it into dionysiac dens resplendent with chaos where the devils laugh at the sour Reason who goes grumbling 🔥
