Nice video, but if you want to stop the bellows from collapsing, you can add internal support. Internal support makes the suctioning power skyrocket and allows the hand dredger to pump in excess of 30 gallons of water per minute, that's 1/8 of a cubic yard.
Golden Sniffer Products now has optional the top secret internal support rings to add to the purchase of an M625 HD Power Plant Skin.
A fully assembled Pumping Handle has them securely fitted inside so they won't get dislodged during pumping.

Interesting... Thanks for checking out the video. Those are some good tips, I didn't find it collapsing all that much when I was using it though. You kinda start learning the correct way to pull after a while to keep it from happening. Like your products though, very smart ideas you've come up with.

I use two types of valve I think work pretty well, one is a super ball on a string ($1.49) at the inlet tip and the other is a rubber toilet tank flapper ($2.99) in a chamber at the exit where you have your collector, attached to a 5' hose that feeds into a 5 gallon bucket.
Both seem to be very durable, let rocky material flow by pretty well and rarely (enough) fail to reseal because of a trapped stone.

Pretty good ideas. I bought some valves for my big hand dredge, might had been a better idea just making them.

Cool built , nice and portable, I hade a idea years ago about small sucker with 2 chambers and with bicycle pump you would pressurerise one chamber and then open it and it would suck gold in other chamber ;) mayby I build it one day

Thanks, it works pretty well, especially for being so portable.
That sounds like an interesting idea. Probably could end up getting a lot of suction depending upon how much pressure you could build. I'll keep an eye out for when you build that lol. :)

Nice work! I'm looking for something like this to clean out crevices and will fit in my pack. Do you have a video of it in action?

Thanks appreciate it. Yea it is convenient to bring along if you are trying to pack light and you want to have something to clean out the bedrock with. I do have one video I made showing me testing it out some.
