I took the risk and ordered a 5-matching MD65 kit. I know I should’ve done this years earlier when they were still cheap. Fast forward, the kit came surprisingly in near mint condition! Looks like never issued, and ALL parts matching (10 parts in total). Year is 1972. I consider myself lucky. Thank you Atlantic.
I really wish people in the 2A world would stop referring to these as "parts kits." They are not firearms. They are pieces of wood, metal, and plastic. The terminology plays right into the hands of the anti-gunners.
@@BigTomInTheBasement Agreed, except that these whatever we call thems have no receiver, which is the "firearm" according to current US law. These items cannot be transformed into a "firearm" without purchasing a "firearm" (i.e. a serialized receiver). Selling something as a "parts kit" invites scrutiny and can and will be used against the 2A, like posting a video about Tannerite. Not a good idea, in my opinion. Yours may differ.

Just ordered a pps-43 parts kit. I’ve never done this before, I’m about to learn how to weld and stuff. Question is this: it says it doesn’t come with a barrel or receiver. Where can I buy a barrel and receiver for it?
@@RosaParksWasWytit’s tough, my dad got me one about 4 years ago as well, wanted to turn it into a blank firing one because you might as well not bother if you want to make it semi auto since you have to get a whole new receiver.
Maybe if there were companies that were able to make halfway decent receivers to build off of and you could find a reliable barrel not some junk tube that 1 of these companies sells it's not worth squat. I would like to see good parts come in again but to pay $300 to $1000 for a stock trigger group bolt Carrier group and if you're lucky a Tronian on AK's it's kind of outrageous to pay

@Kash EDC BRO! Fucking TH-cam unsubscribed me from your channel! Put the word out to your followers! Just re-subscribed.
This video makes me really wish I had the knowledge & tools to turn some of those beautiful old part kits into functioning guns.
If i can you can! Its not hard man as long as you follow instructions
Go out and learn. You'll make mistakes but thats the only way you will learn. There are awesome communities that will help you. Just do it.
Just buy a good welder, dremel, grinder, hydraulic press and a cold 30 pack.
You could!
Buy some easier cheap kits like stens and learn how to do stuff. Practice on your own. Some stuff really isn’t too hard

When he said “…65 because it’s an under folder” so as-a-matter-of-factly…the pause afterwards is what made it hit harder

They are parts kits, though. The anti gunners keep changing the definition of words to meet their needs.

Dumb comment. They aren’t firearms, that’s exactly why we call them parts kit. Its a kit of parts… duh
Anyone know if the date of manufacture and cerise numbers are still on the receivers for the ppsh-41 kits or did those got taken off during demil ?

Why is it cut and how to fix
Tried to buy the pps-43 Thursday but it was posted, "not available until Saturday". Checked on it Friday afternoon and they were already gone. WTF?
