    Well done !!! 🙂
But I must admit, that I really hate, when DIYers (especially in usa) distress the wood-pieces, they took so much care of, painted it, sealed it etc. and then scrub it !!!
Actually I own a lot of real vintage furniture from the 1920ies and 1850ies (Europe) and I am so happy, that everything is in a good shape !!!
To protect my wooden tables, cupboards, wardrobes etc. I use linseed oil. It takes some soaking-time but is food-safe and sustainable.
The way of pulling off the contact-paper little by little is also what I do and I wonder, why not everybody does it like that. 🙂

Where I live on this planet you can go to your home improvement store and rent machines for a couple of days. No need to buy, maybe except the sanding paper. The machines rented out are in very good working condition. Best part: After you're finished, you return them to the store and they don't use real estate in your garage!
The table came out excellent! And the tray and the side table.

As always, Norrine, thank you for sharing all of your hard work, creativity, talent, and inspiration! Stay safe, healthy, and positive! God bless you and your family! Ah fun!!!! My grandfather was a carpenter. He would mix wood shavings & wood glue for things like the corners of that little table. He would put small screws (thin ones) to also add stability, then form the corner like you did over the screws w that paste. I don’t comment often but love your up cycles. I only see totally ruined items in my area. Boo. lol

I really enjoy the up cycles of found items❤ I inherited living room tables from my mother, I wasn't particularly excited about the color but I needed new tables. I kept them the walnut color for a couple of years and then knew they needed updating. I did a multiple color (dark teal and white) in chalk paint, I lightly sanded after the top coat of white dried so the teal showed through. Then did a coat of clear wax and then a coat of a light brown wax (to antique it). I am happy with the finished look, and they've been that way for 4 years now. Keep up the great videos.

The little table that you wanted to make stained wood. I would have painted it brown to match the color of the top of the coffee table. Then put in faux wood lines with a darker brown and a thin paint brush. Then put a layer of clear on it. I get a lot of stuff at auctions and most of the time very very low price.

You did an amazing job with all three make overs I loved the coffee table , but I have an idea for the missing drawer, just take a board about the size that the drawer front would have been paint it to match the table base, add a drawer pull to the center and attach it over the hole! You’ll be the only one that knows there is no drawer there!!!!

Next time, get molding putty, make an 9:46 impression of one of the end table corners or embellishments that are missing on the other side, then use DAS air dry clay or Amazing casting resin and create a corner or embellishments that are missing. You can also just go straight in with air dry clay and mold a corner onto your table from scratch. It has much more body and structure than the spackle or wood putty and works wonders for missing pieces and/or filling holes or gouges! I know that was long winded but wanted to try and help you save time and frustration! Your projects are always flawless and beautiful ❤❤❤ give yourself a huge pat on the back!

Very nice. I had some broken mini blinds in my living room. I am doing some deep cleaning and thought I might replace them, Then I thought I wonder if I could fix them some way? I didn't see how, so I turned to You Tube for some suggestions! I found it was so VERY EASY to remove the broken mini blinds and use the unused ones at the bottom to replace them. It looks great now! And I used the broken vinyl mini blinds to make tags - labels for my plants! I will colorfully decorate some of them with my paint pens! So, I found my treasure right at home --this time! LOL I have many others I have brought home to complete! Love your videos and ideas!

Well done. You did a great job.
The only free thing I’ve got is a white drawer unit.
I clean in a school & one day while I was taking the rubbish out I saw a white unit with drawers near the bins.
I asked around if it belonged to anyone & was told no I asked if I could have it & was told yes - I was so happy.
A couple of days later one of the teachers dropped it off outside my house. In was in great condition & all I had to do was to clean it with some baby wipes & leave the drawers open for a while.
I now have it by the side of my settee & it holds things like glasses, hearing aids & a box of tissues etc.

You must live in a nicer area than I do. My neighbors never get rid of things as cute as that coffee or side table. They usually toss things like very old, saggy mattresses and moldy couches. 🙄
I personally prefer the natural wood look best with a clear protective finish. My second favorite is painted furniture and 3rd is stained. Have you tried the sand paper attachments for drills? It seems like they might be easier to manipulate than a regular sander, but IDK.
I enjoy all your videos and often watch "re-runs".... especially when I need to try one of your projects. Thank you for sharing!
