'hey Tony, yeah, you Tony, you are doing a lot of good stuff there. it's really funny humorous background in your sketches and also of your eagle and your wood chopper guy.
if you want him to be more eagle then the beak can be shorter and more aquiline (eagle like duh), yeah, whatever you want to design it is up to you of course. it was awesome what you did. I do not know how to do the bone and mix work process. perhaps you have a video on coaching on how to make a character in the other than 2 d animation. I could learn from it if you do.

Great demonstration of mixing animation styles: Frame by frame, plastic tool, animation tool, all in one. Perfect.
Would you say this saved you much time, compared to doing it all frame by frame?

Thanks! Well, I think if the rig is setup correctly and you're ok with the "puppet look" then yes. For the Grub Guardian game I worked on I did something similar. I did a super rough frame-by-frame in blue pencil. Then, created a cutout character for the cleanup. It was a pretty efficient work flow.

      Right.
I much prefer the hand-drawn look, but am very aware of the time it takes, so I'm considering trying a few techniques together, just as you have here, to try to be as efficient as possible.
