thats what im sayin me and my 21 y/o sis useally get like 3 pairs each for btd (back to dirtfest) so we spend like over 1k between the 2 of us sooooo 1300 for 14 kids aint bad at ALL

As someone who came from a low-income family where we only got a single pair of shoes a year, I appreciate that you buy nice things for your kids but you don’t seem to go too over board or show off. I think you keep a nice balance as demonstrated by Lizzie preferring to spend her birthday with her family instead of a trip to New York.

its crazy cos in the UK we've literally just broken up for school (I BROKE UP TODAY FOR THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS) and you guys are ready for the next year!!

In our area they get out the end of may and go back end of July the breaks are only 8 weeks for summer but they also get a 2 weeks break every 9 weeks
@@justkim8094 wow summer holidays in England are commonly 6 weeks and we get half turn breaks commonly 1 week and a term break commonly 2 weeks. It is so interesting!!!

While in school I hated wearing a uniform but looking back it sure made back to school a lot easier. It was one less thing we had to worry about especially in the heat of the Australian summer when the last thing you wanted to be doing is shopping.

Sucked for me cause I was a bigger kid and the only place with uniforms here was really hard with sizes . Those rough pants sucked lol , and they were expensiveeeee . They would send you home without the right ones . I wish we got to just wear cheap comfy shorts but definitely with this type of family it’s probably so much easier to just have a simple uniform
@@Yer4you I was a bigger kid as well and the public schools were pretty good uniform wise as long as they matched the colours of the school or you had at least the school polo you could wear what ever bottoms fitted. The Catholic high school I went to was a lot more strict and I had to get exemptions to wear different shorts as the school ones didn’t fit. The skirts we were able to get made so they did fit but they took nearly three months to come back despite being ordered on my last day of year 7 so I had to wear my sports uniform for the first few weeks of school requiring a note from my parents explaining why after being pulled up by a male teacher for not wearing the skirt like the other girls.
Can I just say how fabulously well behaved all your children are, and how lovely you all are. When I watch your vlogs, it brightens up my day. Thank you for sharing

I’m a size 10 and it’s also really hard for me to find shoes that don’t make my feet look big ! But Lizzy should really look into men’s shoes, they don’t make your feet look big, and the most of the time have the same style as women’s! Especially if you’re looking for solid color shoes ! Men’s is the way to go.

YESSSS MY FAVORITE TYPE OF VIDEOS!! I always love watching back to school videos but it's even better watching them in this channel because there is so many kids with different preferences which gives me more ideas for what I want to buy this school year.
I love how you were able to get everyone's shoes in 1 day I hope it's that easy for me with my boys lol.. and love that Shelly had to tell Mindy to be prepared for the questions and assumptions through out the mall trip that was to funny ..

@@NadeThoorn I'm from Philippines and it's actually a big deal here too. It's some sort of Reinforcement for the children to be more enthusiastic in going back to school. So buying new things have been a tradition, we also have sales of back to school materials and clothes. I think the clothes is important if the school of the child doesn't have uniform. Kids nowadays belittle their peers if they noticed that they repeatedly use an outfit. So if you have the money to buy new clothes then that would be helpful for the child.
Even if the people who are less privileged, they still try to buy new things for their children such as new bag, new notebooks, new pencil cases, etc.

@@rae8513 retail price usually go for $100 but that’s the resale price, the store she went to was a resellers store and the prices are higher since the shoes are mostly sold out everywhere and a lot of people want them.

Hi Crazy Middles Family! Thank you for sharing your life experiences! I have always thought of adopting but people have always told me it’s hard. I’m a new subscriber and watch Crazy Pieces also. So I have been learning a lot from your channel and I too have done soul searching for a very long time and I know kids have childhood struggles. But, now I am definitely opening up to adopting multiple siblings because of what Jared and you said that we need to keep the family unit together. You both make it seem so easy! But that is what it is supposed to be like when you adopt from the heart and for the right reason…love you guys! Could you make a video on the adoption process? And what obstacles we may encounter? Thank you for all your inspiration!

I cant imagine the cost of buying Clothes, Shoes and school supplies for that many kids. Can you do a grand total video after everything is bought? would be interesting to know. by the way, my grandmother was the oldest daughter of 16 kids all biological.

There's many cultures who work together as a family without everyone getting a paycheck.
You, nor myself, know if, they receive a check, or, not.
Since some of the older children speak of their on line purchases, my guess is, they do get paid.

Crazy Middles are such a beautiful family. The children are blessed to have Jared and Shelly. They teach them self discipline and to be practical while having fun.
