So much easier to buy your supplies for back to school, without all the kids, less chaotic. Then having a list of what they needed to have, when choosing. Crazy Middles did the same kind of thing too. Savannah loves been around and helping mum and dad. Blessings to you all.

I really loved how the sisters spent time in yesterday’s vlog buying clothes and enjoying quality time with each other. Bella’s sentiment about buying back to school clothes and being apart of a loving caring family really hit home for me that these kids have been raised correctly with the right priorities.I also found the whole scene with giving the homeless lady the visa giftcard very touching and sweet. It was so wholesome and Im glad the girls know whats it like to bless people less fortunate

it very much does hit home because when it comes to foster care, not a lot of kids get to have the privilege of receiving new things. i was in foster care at age 10 & was in the system for about 5 years. not once did i ever go back to school shopping & i used the same backpack for every school year. just because money is sent for you, doesn’t mean it’s spent on you. bellas sentiment was completely correct.

@@DanaPAH I totally understand why... In French, we use 'familiar words', like a lot, so for a non-native speaker, it can be very difficult. And all the conjugaison....
But belive me, if you only speak a few words like 'bonjour' or 'comment allez vous', that's means a lot for us, we appreciate the effort!
And we are not very good at speaking English so, don't worry 😂

As a former teacher, it is so refreshing to hear Crystal think ahead about getting extras for kids who may not have supplies! School supplies are one of my favorite commodities! I am so grateful to see the bond between Savannah and Crystal and Aaron. She seems so at ease and trusting of their genuine love and devotion to her well-being. After reading about the temps in AZ, I can understand the kids being in the pool!! Take care...be careful with that heat!☀️☀️☀️💗💗💗

These children are so thankful and sweet. The love that this family has for one another is phenomenal. To hear that some of them have never even gone before school shopping just makes me realize how fortunate a lot of us are and don’t even realize it.
That’s actually really good for 11 kids! I used to work at target and ringing out back to school transactions was always fun to see what people were buying but it was always so expensive.

I have two kids but this is what I have done the last few years. And I always have extras for when they run out during the year because they are cheaper now and I don’t have to make an extra trip to the store for something. I love how Savannah encouraged you to get the white board. We all need that in our lives. 😂
Peeling garlic tip! Crush the bulb under a butcher knife, put it in a small mason jar & shake, shake, shake. It’ll peel the garlic for you.
The cyber school students could use the weekly dry erase board to write out their schedule each week with deadlines and assignments.

So every time I see you go back to school shopping, I always wonder if you have leftover supplies from the previous year? I was the youngest of five kids and we had something at home we called “supplies R us.” “Supplies R us” contained gently used school materials like binders folders etc. that at the end of the school year were deemed good enough to keep for the next school year that way we weren’t going out and buying all new school supplies each time. As the youngest yeah it might’ve gotten annoying getting hand me downs but I did get some new things if we didn’t have any leftover supplies from the previous year. Also I had an L.L. Bean backpack that lasted from kindergarten to junior year of high school, then senior year I got a new one. We weren’t buying new backpacks each school year and backpacks were never hand me downs.
I was like whooaa…. when Crystal said “we’ll get all these then come back for the rest.” I was already shocked at the full cart of items. Lol Don’t know why I was shocked though, not like I haven’t seen numerous back to school shopping Vlogs from them and Crazy Middles!!! 😆🤣🤣🤣
There always is something special about choosing school supplies and figuring out what each kid needs. Hope that the school year goes well for everyone.
Don’t buy calculators. The school provides them. I mean unless it’s like a $20 calculator then go ahead. But if it’s a like expensive hundred dollar one don’t buy it.

Our school PTO does fundraisers through the year. Then, take a portion of the money to buy the majority of the supplies, so parents don't have to buy everything. Our parents love this idea.

I took French for 6 years because my elementary school did it and now I am 7th grade and trust me it’s really easy but it’s also because I am younger so maybe we learn different but I don’t know! Good luck!!

The other day me and my mom went to Walmart alone and we bought school supplies for me and my sister!

I don’t know about y’all, but I adored back to school shopping growing up. Maybe it has something to do with my disability, but I loved looking at all the cute backpacks and folders and binders and lunchboxes and water bottles and clothes and would give anything to have those memories back.

Honestly.. Savannahs gonna LOVE taking french is SO fun and it's super easy for french 1 French 2 is kinda hard bc u have to write and talk in French the entire time 😂

I took 2yrs of Spanish and 7yrs of French. I definitely loved French more but Spanish is more useful.

Have fun with school supplies shopping. French or any language is not easy to learn. American Sign Language if you schools offers it. Also, was sad when my friends were not in class with me either usually schedule that many students is difficult enough. Happy when the kids care about other too less fortunate

Aaron, put 1 garlic 🧄 in a normal size bowl, put a second bowl on top & shake. After 5 minutes of the shaking the garlic 🧄 should shed it's skin rather easily, ONLY have to cut butt off. This is a tip gotten from an Egyptian chef. My late husband & I used the method for years. It worked.

I can’t believe you are expected to get all the supplies for elementary! I’m a primary school teacher in Scotland and everything is provided. The children don’t even need to bring pencil cases.
In Ireland, the parents have to buy everything and all the schoolbooks too.

Im so excited for this weekend because I get to go back to school shopping for my very last year of high school! The only thing that sucks it that I live in Dallas, and this year the district bought clear backpacks for us because of what happened in Uvalde so I can’t buy the backpack I wanted😭 But I understand

Buying in advance can be wise. However if you buy too much, save for next year or semester. White boards are great for math & spelling practice. I don't see any clear plastic page savers, they help a lot. (I like to get them for subject dividers. Like Lucas I prefer 1 binder with dividers.) Not ONLY for students, but parents as well.

The easy way of peeling garlic, after separating the cloves of garlic, put them on the board and hit them with the side of your kitchen knife.
I love that kind of Videos. But when I watch these I want to use paper, folders, organizers etc. again. I'm using a Laptop and ipad for school because its not so heavy to take with you and you have everything you need with you. But I had one of these big file Organisation stuff (I don't know the exact same word, because English isn't my first language and google isn't really helpful with that xD) and I really likes these but its way easier just to use a laptop and iPad for school. But sometimes, especially when I watch this kind of videos, I really miss it.
Love when you go school supply shopping and it went so well this year. I teach second grade and we also have a list for parents, so thanks for going by that list because we do share them with the entire class. I prefer for my students to get the larger head phones because the ear buds are small and easy to lose and they often get tangled. It is also hard to label them with kids names. My students don't start school until August 29, but we also didn't finish school until June 17th.

to save like Tons of money just stop buying stuff you already have or could be used again like notesbook that's have 2 used papers just cut them out, Im 12 I pay like 10-20 dollars on ONLY pens and a study notebook like new backpacks and pencil cases are unessessary when u have ur old ones, trust me your gonna save much more money

Just FYI about Fiskars scissors- the ones that say "nonstick coating" (like the ballerina one) are great for cutting Duct tape (we do a lot of Duct Tape crafts).
So that’s $67 per kid that’s not bad
