you have to be patient. I grew up with a family who has 11 kids. Their oldest now has 15, thats just the oldest. That isn't accounting for the younger kids and their offspring. While a lot of moms complain about parenting. You see the patience in those with several and frankly I think those with fewer kids could learn some patience today. You dont need a dozen kids to be a patient parent. I even see within my friends family that those parents who now have several grandkids, are incredibly patient with them too and actually know how to discipline them as well. It takes a special mom AND dad, because it takes BOTH parents to render that many kids. We have to credit the fathers because they matter equally and require the same amount of patience. There is nothing inherently wrong with telling a kid you dont like their choices, its how you deliver it. A good parent would tell their kid when something they chose isn't appropriate.

Josh’s face was hilarious! You can tell Alicia is used to big shops and nothing overwhelms her now. I think josh probably breathed a sigh of relief when he had to take some kids to scrimmage. This has made my day. Such a beautiful family.❤️

The way that you handle all of your kiddo's is inspiring to me. I found myself getting a little anxious at times watching the video because being out in public is daunting for me. You handled it wonderfully. Everyone helps each other out. I love it!

VERY early in the morning is obviously the best time to go.😄. Crocs have come a long way colour-wise since I last bought my granddaughter some 10 years ago.

That's what I say too! No doubt they love all their brothers and sisters. It's just a different bond biological siblings have and it's probably with the twins. As well as Alicia's biological children.

Yay! Does anyone else find themselves just waiting for Alicia to post? Every day I just love the happy positivity of the whole family. I also am aware there are some nasty haters giving them a hard time, being obsessive and cruel, but they are just bitter and jealous people. LOVE this whole family, but especially this truly inspirational icon, Alicia. What a huge heart!

me 🙋🏻♀️!! I constantly look and feel like I have no life sometimes, haha.
That upsets me so much. Look at how good these children have it. I have to seriously budget for three teens this year. Husband is having health issues. $600 to $700 isn't enough to properly send them to school. I don't know why people hate on her. Putting them on camera some times helps all of them financially. They have a warm bed, food, are always properly dressed, loved and get to do a lot of after school activities. I wish people would get passed being their Karen self and see these children are being raised right. I think they hate because they wish they could bring in the amount of money this channel brings in.
Bodhi was so considerate bringing you a cup you know you like and asked if you wanted it that shows he pays attention to what you like.also glad the back to school shopping was a success for all the kids.
That was a Daugherty shopping adventure for sure! The kiddos are so good at picking out what they want and it’s really great seeing Dayshawn not being as shy about shopping as he used to be. Nevaeh picked out some really cute shoes and Bree totally knew what she liked. I love seeing the children’s different personalities come through, especially James. Every time I hear him speak, he sounds like such an adult. I’d love to see him do a long cooking video. Jordan, Jason, the little ones, Zoey, Alex and Patrick-they all make me smile. Even the friends are delightful to watch. Alicia, you and Josh are rockstars. I’m so inspired by y’all’s patience and good humor and the love y’all are not shy about displaying for your family. oh my the "back in the old day" was hilarious 😂🤣😅 I laughed way too hard, and Zoey's face when you showed her and Nevaeh that cute dress 😅. Zoey wasn't having any part of that. Josh's face really made my day, haha. Jaden was awesome with the little ones and fit in perfectly 🤗. I love how all the kids get along so well, and always willing to help each other out. Bree and Patrick make my heart smile. I'm getting ready to attempt this with my one kid in a couple weeks. I'm so glad to see Dayshawn opening up more and more. Awesome video and great job mom and dad!! BTW I love Harlee's pants. one of the best videos yet!

I'm confused on the store you selected to get new clothes for school! You bought expensive athletic style clothing. Why not go to Macy's or Kohls to buy proper clothes? Like Polo shirts or button down shirts. Look how everyone is dressed...... Tee shirts, athletic shorts and sneakers! Ugg!! If you have the money to buy expensive athletic clothing at Dicks, you can surely buy them presentable nice clothes at Macys for your children. You bought LOVLY clothes for the Children on Easter... beautiful!! One's they wore to church and the extra set. Very nice! So why can't you buy clothes like that for school?

I love this lady!! Many people judge and make comments but seriously she always allows these kids to pick what they want and what they like she doesn’t check prices. She makes them feel comfortable. She buys all of them their favorite food/drinks. She actually uses the money on these kids 100% never seen her with expensive purse shoes etc!! @@nancylowery4504 a lot of these children came from foster care and adoption. that means that the world already kicked them around when they were little and vulnerable. it takes a broken person who didnt grow up with any reprieve from the "real world" to sit around and hold their nose up over a bunch of children being allowed to be carefree children. i hope you find some peace and sincerely consider getting a therapist so you can heal your pain, nancy.
I only have 2 kids, but I always get them brand names for school shoes like Nike or adidas because their the most comfortable, non slippery, and last through the whole year. This family can afford getting these brand names for 14 kids so let them be 🤷🏻♀️

Hi Alicia. I usually never comment on youtube videos but i just want to say how happy your videos makes me feel. The amount of hate you receive is in my opinion unfathomable. Some people might never understand how hard it is to raise children, especially those with special needs. I think you are an admirable person and what you are doing is heartwarming.
I just say that your an inspiration to me. I love watching your videos and seeing you be a great mom to your kids. I have always wanted to adopt and foster since I was a little girl and watching you motivates me to work towards that goal. Unfortunately right now I'm in college and still living with my parents. But one day I hope to be just like you and open my home to children who need loving place to stay.🥰
For anyone who is in a similar place as me I would encourage you to get involved with children in the community by volunteering. I volunteer at an organization called big brother big sister which pairs you with a child in the community. Typically it's children from foster care, single parent home, or children placed with grandparents. These kids just need a little extra support and encouragement to succeed and you can do that by hanging out them for an hour or two every week.

I wanted 12 children. I got 3. I was blessed to be the stay at home Mom for 10 years while they were small. And babysat whomever needed it! The amount of money that costs to raise kids I'm ok with God's choice for us now.
I'm super late to this party, but oh my goodness does this woman have the best attitude and level of patience. I couldn't do 12 kids. Everyone would wind up in flip flops and call it a day.

Mad respect momma (& dad 😊). BTS shopping can be stressful as heck...between the crowds, the $$, picky kiddos, etc it can get to u if u let it. I only had 2 kids, so you blow my mind everytime I watch y'all. Organized, chill & calm, what a memory u have!!!, loving, kind, ....just ALL the things 😊💓❣️ Thankfully I never let BTS shopping get to me. We always had a good time. My son especially liked to go shopping with mom cuz he knew we'd have fun no matter what AND I always allowed him to be a huge part in all we got. I'd always see parents stressed, crabby, picking everything out themselves, which just isn't fair, & having a crappy experience. You my dear could really show those parents it can be done without being axxholes 😊. Those kids are SO blessed to have y'all.

Alicia is the GOAT for allowing the kids friends to tag along with them. I was never old enough to see my parents in a marriage, out of all my friends/cousins growing up, only 1 of my friends/cousins parents were married out of 30. If those kids parents aren’t married, it’s nice Alicia is exposing them to what a marriage can look like, I’m now 26 & it recently hit me that I’ve never been able to envision getting married because I never had enough exposure to what a marriage is 😊

I have two boys, they are no longer at school but I remember spending a huge amount (not as much as yours) we wear uniforms so the blazers, sweater vest, ties one for the start of the eleven years old then a new one for the higher for the upper school! I think the university things were so much more, copious amount of clothes, shoes, kitchen equipment, stationery, food and laundry detergent, that was a waste of money as he would come back on most weekends so i could wash his clothes and feed him comforting home meals!
My youngest was home schooled, he is autistic, depression and anxiety he just couldn’t cope, he is now wanting to start his education now, he is twenty two, he has just started another medication, he takes Prozac, Melatonin and now Pre Gablin , this has helped! I was totally shocked that you could purchase MELATONIN in your supermarkets, it has to be prescribed by our doctors and when Harry started taking it the drug was unlicensed!

I give you and your husband praise. I know my girls would just love to get name brand shoes. But since my husband passed away in November, they have been so kind by not even asking for anything. For 2 girls 15 and 18, it just shows me how much they care.

I loved watching this haul. With so many kids, is there ever a limit they are allowed to spend? Or is it like, if they like it then you’ll buy it? I’m just wondering because as a kid my parents would always give me a limit, and I couldn’t get stuff that I wanted :(
