Love Bret. He chose to be the bigger man, forgive the WWE and protect the careers of his family members. Haters and envious rivals call him a mark for himself. We all know he was the best wrestler of all time. He wasn't the biggest or the fastest, but he had the best match almost every night. That makes him the GOAT.

Love or hate the Hitman, he always gives a great interview. He may not put the dramatic sound bites out there, but is very engaging. As many people have said, he was the utmost professional. You only need to listen to true pros like Mr Perfect, Bam Bam Bigelow, Stone Cold, The Undertaker, Rowdy Roddy Piper, even Shawn Michaels. True greats of the profession who appreciated his art.
Hats of to you Hitman and the other stars of your generation. You were truly the best. Today’s wrestlers ( 2020 ) take note. You are not fit to lace the Hitmans or other wrestlers from his eras boots.

Ask any wrestler today or at the time when Hitman was King. They will say Bret was the best.
I had a friend, that died a few years ago, who wrestled for Bret's Dad and was trained in the dungeon. He said Bret Hart had respect in the dressing room more than any other wrestler. If Bret wasn't injured I can guarantee Bret Hart would have brought a union to wrestlers. That is what the sport/entertainment really needs.

The Hitman was huge here in the UK, he was probably the biggest superstar in the world back in those days.

Bret was the utmost professional when it came to wrestling. He was/is my favorite because hie kept me engaged in his matches with his endless technical wrestling arsenal. Bret mentioned that he was one of the first smaller wrestlers--he stood at around 6'1" tops. I'm 5'4" and in the many times I've met Bret between 1994-2022, it was refreshing not to have to crank my neck LOL.

I know there was circumstances of bret hart health and terms etc but I do wrecking there was a better way to bring him back. Great guy and one of the great wrestlers of all time.
WWE was so terrible in 2010 that Bret coming back, as flawed as it was, was one of the major highlights of that year.
just knowing how many times he was stretched by Stu while training as a kid you can't help but respect him.

I stopped watching WWF in late 97. I haven't missed much. It's trash ever since. I have 2K20 and don't even know 3/4 of the roster. It's always fun to toss Flair off the cell onto the table below.
