It amazes me how intelligent this man is. He said he has a good memory- that's an understatement! But not only is he wise, rich and internationally known... he is super humble too. Always wanting to share the knowledge he has learnt with others without coming off as an egotist- or condescending. If you haven't yet read his books, I highly recommend them. They/he has changed my whole thought process and how I look at life and those around me.
I love this brother. A Deep individual, that is often slept on. More than just a producer/MC, but most importantly A wiseman that "studies his lessons"! PEACE
Very interesting video interview from the RZA. Their album, "Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)" made me really get into chess. RZA is definitely one of the greatest Hip Hop producers of all time. With his intelligence and philosophy.
george s. always gives great interviews. always comes into them prepared, knowin' his shit, and always is genuinely interested in what the other guy has to say, especially here. it's like there's not even an audience, just two guys talking to each other. big props.
The RZA is one of the greatest mind produced by the Hip Hop culture. Most people take and make from and make off of Hip Hop ...RZA has given to Hip Hop more than anyone since the Kool Herc, Bambata and Public Enemy. Black people need to start valuing the people of genuine worth in their midst.
i recently purchased his book 'the tao of wu' i highly recommend it. knowledge, wisdom and understanding. Rza is one of the great minds and the hour is an amazing program
Strom-bo ... you got a gift. Artists all around respect you ... this is the only show I can watch and not feel embarrassed for the guest and my self ...
The first thing a man must obtain is twelve Jewels... Knowledge, Wisdom, Understanding to help you achieve Freedom, Justice, Equality, Food, Clothing, and Shelter After this, Love, Peace, and Happiness
Good interview. The interviewer asked really good questions to allow the RZA to show case his intelligence. You don't see that often with hip hop interviews. PEACE
he's a canadian media journalist. even tho im canadian, i dont find our media people do be all that great, but stombo is a superb interviewer. watch all his interviews with coldplay, he just asks the right questions.
True that. I hope RZA branches out and does more stuff involved with films. I dig him as a actor and composer but i wanna see get in the directors chair. Word is around that he's gonna direct "Man With the Iron Fist" which sounds dope. I'd love to see another Wu Tang album that has the ol skool feel to it, i dug 8 diagrams but even though he matured and ill always stick by him, us longtime Wu heads love RZAs ol skool dark gritty beats like on Enter, Gravediggaz, and Forever.
RZA is fucking amazing, he is fuckin amazing rapper, fuckin amazing producer, and a freakin hip hop icon man. RZA should do more Producing on next Wu solo albums. Cant wait for the new Wu Record to come out.
Bob Digi, yeah you know is he... Will be getting that cd as soon as it's leaked on the internet.. haha.. then buy it of course.. Mad props to the interviewer, he actually asked some really good deep questions, unlike every other interviewer I've seen.
Ontario, Canada. Primarily resides in Toronto, I believe, but worked on the west coast / greater Vancouver area as well. Extremely talented man and a proud Canadian. *waves flag*

That's a Canadian made Strombone (genus: realis Interviewer) you see there. It may appear to be a 90's pseudo-punk/grunge kid that's never reached maturity, but is actually a "person you're looking for when someone famous agrees to be on TV, and needs to be vetted" . They're known to be able to take all responses to questions, and assimilate them into a free-flowing conversations.
The entire Wu-Tang Clan will be in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on Monday, April 21, 2008 performing at the Metropolis. Everybody knows the Wu-Tang Clan in Canada.
I know what you're saying, but RZA is the leader hands down. He didn't just teach them music, he schooled them on life. Read either of RZA's books, or look up the interview of them on the staircase, they all agree RZA is the head of Wu.
Saw this dude in concert on Sunday.. It brought me back to a great time.. also he spoke at CMW on Sat... He threw up an amazing acronym, Ms. T.H.A.N.G. standing for Miss That Hoe Ain't No Good
if i can find the interview where the rest of wu tang says he is the leader, i'll be sure to post the link. saw it about 6 years ago and haven't been able to find it since. from a fan's perspective, there is no leader. they're all on the same level so i do agree with you.
It amazes me how intelligent this man is.

Very interesting video interview from the RZA. Their album, "Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)" made me really get into chess. RZA is definitely one of the greatest Hip Hop producers of all time. With his intelligence and philosophy.
