I’m having 2 pillars built soon. 17 courses x 2.5 brick A brickie told me to get quick drying concrete for the foundations as it will set in 5 minutes. Surely that can’t be right??
Not sure why you would do that never used or even enquired about it .we usually poor the day before we lay .The concrete from the companies who deliver concrete use additives in the concrete maybe that's what hes on about . Just ask him I'm sure he can explain to you 👍

What if the pillar cap is broken? Can we just buy new pillar cap, are they standard? Or can we use cement to fix the broken off piece? Do u have a separate other video re such?
Hi pal did u really put the turf down or did a firm do it cos u never filmed it gettin done ,looks way too good for a brickie to do it , 🤪. You doing OK pal, whats next are you putting slabs down on the extention job 👍
Yes we did the turf no other firm .the weather was against us mate so had to just get it in 210m2 of turf and 35 tons of top soil was manic in crap weather. Slabs on the extension coming soon on weekends. A smaller job next one and dont i need it 😂😂 thanks allan mate Justin 😂👌👍

The slurry ratio is all expained on the packaging. When you get used to it and you know the consistency its easy .👍
