In this video, I will teach you the secrets of how to install pier cap / capstone / capping stone. Pier caps can increase the value of your property not to mention they aesthetically look great! These pier caps were extremely heavy but we managed to lift them onto the piers and liquid nail them down, alternatively you can use mortar to mortar them down as well. By Jack Zhai

Installation tip. Before mounting turn the pier caps upsidedown and mark the outline of the pier using a pencil. That way is far easier to centre and postion them during mounting

Thank you, have used your making pier caps and this video with great success! I was going to use mortar for bedding, but this way is much easier as I was having trouble lifting onto the mortar bed, now I can just slide the caps into place......Thanks again.
No worries. Happy it helped. Make you use lots of liquid nails alot more than I did for a better stronger hold.
