Greedy goodwill is the reason. They would still earn waaaayyyyy more if they lowered prices and didnt stuff the racks so you cant look thru. The % of items people resell from GW is MINIMAL and they're still getting the asking price they want, whether or not the person is a reseller. Also, they jack up prices of things that arent good sellers on ebay. I don't even shop at gw for inventory. The bins are WAY more profitable. Even if ebay cut their prices in half, I'd still shop at the bins, there is so much good stuff there that gw cant sell or that is donated directly to the bins.

I can go in and look , record, finding resale deals (I do it on the side anyway). I can send you the clips and you can edit for your channel ; 5 Below, marshals, yard sales, Walmarts, targets, antique stores. You can outsource the “hunting” portion and stick to using your great voice and editing skills.

Would of much rather grabbed that pioneer 6 disc. Tape decks usually need band replacements done.

I’ve been selling all my old Disney VHS’s for $5-$10 per. Not bad. USPS ships for 3.59 buyer pays and I tack on a $.50 handling charge for the padded envelope

I made a bad “collectors” investment…years ago I started collecting dvds (before Netflix and streaming, before stupid blurays also) anyway I’m stuck with a hefty amount of dvds. They’re taking up space and I really don’t need them but it kills me that I spent so much and have quite the collection, just to throw them away. Maybe one day they’ll be worth something. Ugh.

This dude dont give af about the items “sitting” and “not being fast flips” cause hes making all the money off the videos and inly having to buy a 5.99 cassette deck and whatever else it was( that he prolly didnt even actually buy and just got the content)

its not that you are taking the things away from people who might need them, but more so that people reselling is causing thrift stores to raise prices because they know resellers will still buy them.
