Bought this jack for my trailer, love how fast it is. You can also hit the up button twice and it will retract all the way up automatically, pushing the down button twice will lower the jack to the ground and stop automatically too. I like those features more than the memory features to be honest.
Thx for your video. I love my UF Phoenix 4K! Extremely fast, so fast that it takes some getting used to to operate smoothly. Once you do get used to it, makes hitching and unhitching much easier. Highly recommend!
Thanks!! I wish I'd have ordered this one, instead I bought the $200 Chinesium one. When the current one pukes, I'm ordering this one. I like it. The memory for level, plus truck lift (to connect weight distribution), is great!!
Recommending this to someone that uses his trailer for work ... time is money! Personally I'd love to have it on my travel trailer. A) every minute saved during setup gives me a minute relaxing (especially given the down/up/down again with the WDH) and B) when it's raining or cold I want that job done as fast as possible! Too bad I've already handed out my xmas list. This might have to be a present to myself! LOL!
Can’t get over how badass that weight distribution hitch is. I just might have to get one of those. This tongue jack is pretty slick also. Raising and lowering the tongue is a pain and this would be a great add. Wow.
TIP: Crimping with the portion of the tool that puts a dimple in the heat shrink sleeve will likely puncture a hole in it. I always use the inner most portion of my crimp tool when crimping wires because it never damaged the insulation around the crimp barrel.
I bought a Uriah with a pig tail connection. Plugged it in before installing and it worked. Installed it and it worked. Then went to unhook and the ball was sticking so I moved the truck an inch and suddenly jack no longer worked.???? What can I do? Laughed when the new one went in in slow motion with the bang. That was geeat
Where did you get the system to toe with with the bracket and everything I’m talking about hitching up to the camper it looks a lot safer than having a long poles are used for anti-sway and stuff
I see many design engineers specifying lock washers against flat washers. This reduces the locking capability of the system by about 50%. They're hoping it will be enough. An extremely effective alternative is a Nordlock system. Consists of two washers the size of a flat washer, with one side with grooves and the other with wedges
Can you elaborate on how the use of a lock washer reduces the locking capacity of the system (which I’m interpreting as the resistance to the bolts coming loose) vs a flat washer?
@@jetdriver If you actually watched the video, you noticed that the bolting hardware included a spring lock washer against a flat washer. The flat washer has no locking mechanism between it and the base. I was merely pointing out a more effective method of locking a fastener.
Nordlock systems incorporate two washers, both with a series of grooves on one side, and a series of wedges machined into the other. Install the wedge sides together and torque the bolt 20% above the nominal torque for the bolt size and grade.
Nice, can the motor housing on the top of the jack be rotated? Our current trailer jack blocks the tailgate from opening, only need a couple of inches for the tailgate to clear, but I can't rotate the jack.
Is the wiring wired directly to the batteries or a separate circuit from the system? Although extreme overkill for my little trailer, be cool to add it.
I have a toy hauler travel trailer with a tongue weight of about 1700 lbs. Do you think the 4000 lbs rating is sufficient when you take into account the additional weight from raising the rear of my truck when installing/removing the distribution bars?
Where is this available? I’ve ordered it a couple different places over the last couple years and both times my order gets canceled because they can’t get one. I know Amazon has refurbished ones but I can’t get around the price they want for a refurbished unit.
Dude. You are so spoiled. You are only installing this cause it was free. Why would anyone be in that much of a hurry?also why doesn't it have a remote?. You can do the couoler height with a 1 dollar tape measure or a pre cut stick. Lol
That's the first time I've seen you use both hands ✋️ ✋️
Impressive! 😁

Your a really good teacher.

Wow, very nice, thanks for sharing. This will be my next upgrade.
Wow that’s the fastest Jack I ever saw . Glad I ran across the video cause I’m fixing to buy a 8.5x24 enclosed trailer .
Great video I have been looking for a new jack the one on my camper just went out Thanks

Are the amps used more than the others jacks or is the heating and/or jack motor better?
Will they work with the quick flip attachment?
Could you explain your toe hitch up a little better?? I like the jack but I’m interested in your towing hook up.

Yes you can rotate it.
With the factory tongue jack you can’t lower your tailgate, can you lower your tailgate while connected with this tongue jacket?

What are those Jack pads?
Could you wire this to a portable power station like an eco flow 12v cigarette outlet?
Yes
This actually would save some time. ⏰
You said that this is your second one. Is the Brookstone the first or did you put it on a different one?
I have this on my black cargo trailer as well

OUCH! They aren't cheap.
I'll stick with my drill. Much faster. The memory function is nice tho.
A drill! Good idea for my brand new elect. That doesn't work as it cranks much easier by hand than the manual one I had.
WTF...a 30 minute vid to show a 2 minute tutorial
Wait, a 20 second comment to falsy state a rude comment..

Define free .... If your definition is the same as Webster's, and everything you get is free too.
Nice try lol.
You should have did a time test from your old on to this one. Wow I saved 20 seconds
I use my knee height
