Hey when you pull the bolt back, does the rear of it extend into the buffer tube at all? If so, by how much? Asking because I want to put a cap and folder on the buffer tube.

@jmf1976jmf I found it that it extends 1.5 inches into the buffer tube.

So it appears that any semi auto ar15 bolt will work with the bolt action carrier?
