  • Hunter 350 Royal Enfield - This fantastic little whip is perfect for riding in the city, and for the price point (depending on where you are in the world about $5K + in Canada), one can get very excited about this bike. In addition, a candid conversation with Mark Wells, Chief of Design at Royal Enfield. What a treat it was to meet Mark and to hear firsthand the thought process, genesis, and passion that went into the Hunter 350.
I had an awesome experience at the Royal Enfield North American Launch of the Hunter 350 in San Diego. What a treat it was riding this whip in the city as well as in the countryside.

When I started riding, in the mid 1970s, 750cc was considered a big bike. There were tons of sub-500cc bikes around and they were a blast to ride. I tore around Montreal and southern Quebec on a 360 Honda, then later a 500-4. Went all over the place on them, often two-up. I had a lot of bikes since then, including Harley big twins, but nothing came close to the sheer fun of those small bikes.
Great video, thanks for posting it, Dan.

@@TheMotoFotoYT I live in extra area ulez London, my SV650 K4 had many years life left but had to change, i use one motorway section, limited to 60mph, getting to work in the traffic is just so easy.
My Hunter 350 is my primary transport.
Over 2500 miles, upgraded air filter after 2k and 16 tooth front sprocket, perfect now for what I need a bike for.

Yes, where did 80 come from? He also mentioned 24bhp, whereas it only has 20!
Is there a new bored out version coming for 2024 to battle with the Triumph 400 until the RE 450s are ready?

Plenty of reviewers have said the hunter seems to touch 82 on the clock and it's been measured at 78 by GPS.
This is downhill ofc but it does go over 70.

@@jonr1122I think it will battle with the triumph outside India because of the price.
Expect the triumph to be almost 2k more.
It will depend on whether speed or budget is more important to the buyer.
