      Love your videos bro keep up the good work. Just a small rant unrelated to you: I like how we are getting various new buttons and or Fightstick levers, but where are the "New" Fightsticks for 2021/2022?! Why have we not seen numerous new fightsticks especially for next gen consoles? Just curious.

    Throw distance does not mean when the button activates, that would be engage distance. Throw distance is how deep the button can be pressed, and do to it being a spring activation, it probably needs that extra space. It probably also returns to its unactivated state faster due to this.

    100% agree with your review. I've been using a set of gravity buttons and they are close, but not quite there. They have a slight squishy feel and the 1.5mm vs 1.2mm difference from Crown 202s is noticeable. They are super quiet tho, for streaming they almost never pick up on my mic.

  • @geminirx7

    I would personally recommend Crown 202s. You can use Cherry MX switches and various other keyboard switches with them. I swap out the stock silvers for Cherry MX Blacks. The customizable options make the 202s > Gravity buttons. That's my honest recommendation. I think the gravity buttons are worth checking out but like I said I think 202s are better.

      @@nickryan2847 I have tried both. I like both, but I still stand by the 202s being better in my opinion. Everyone has different wants and needs though. Now that the price of gravity buttons has dropped from $6 to $4 they're worth checking out in my opinion. I only tried the gravity buttons with the linear switches but I have honestly heard nothing positive about the tactical switches. Everyone has their own preferences though so what is best for you may not be best for me.

      I have the 202, they're prerry amazing buttons and feel premium however what bothers me is that these have a 1.2mm Actuation while the Sanwas only 0.85mm to register the input which means the Sanwas are still faster buttons.

    For clarity this button has been updated. Qanba now says the throw distance is only .8 mm and the force required is now only 45 grams, and you can get it as a snap in. So this review may no longer reflect what you are going to get if you buy these today.

    I can see why the top of the button being easily removable doesn't inspire confidence. But if you ask me that's not really a big deal. If anything that's a plus, makes it easier to mix match the colours

    I had actually ordered some a while back to try out. They’re pretty good in my opinion, not really enough to replace any keyboard buttons you may be using, but a decent alternative if there aren’t any available for purchase, considering crowns were sold out until recently, obs-mx are still sold out and GF are kinda MIA. I would still say they’re better than crowns if you’re looking for a silent buttons.

    I like how you tested the travel. Would have been cool if you had something in the background which shows continous contact though. I would like to see when the contact stops upon releasing the button. I also searches for the Kalih Low Profile switches, but I can't find any arcade buttons using them (only 3d printed ones). Do these actually exist?

    Super interesting stuff, these are actually the exact same switch as the Romer G that logitech had Omron make for them about 5 years ago. The Logitech G810 was one of the first keyboards to feature it. It's original intention was to prevent RGB bleed from light on the mx switches that it was trying to replace. As a gaming switch, it was lackluster, and it was a pretty poor typing experience. Upon first inspection, I do not have a huge amount of faith in this button. It is basically a nothing switch that is bad at everything. It's still probably the best gamerfinger alternative, but its at best a sidestep rather than a shift forward from sanwa. It is likely a step back.

    The crown 202s are great, but don’t try to change the plungers or switches in the 24mm metallic series, the tabs snap easily in this specific series, but they are great straight out of the box if your cool with cherry Mx speed silver switches

    Omron switch is 100 times more stable than the standard cross hair mx switch. Omron Switch lubed with Kryo G205 lube (lubing the switch makes is insanely, quiet and smooth) + the foam silencers is the best button I've ever used. Never had any issues with the cap popping off. Maybe slower by technicality but I've never noticed any during game play as someone who's been playing for 4 years. Will never use another arcade button, everything feels like garbage in comparison.

    Last time I checked they only have a 30mm option. I prefer crown buttons for the responsiveness and short throw distance. However a 24mm option for the gravity might be ok for a travel stick given that I wouldnt mind the longer throw distance when just messing around in training mode on a lunch break and the additional presses means it would last longer. The ease of the plunger coming off is bad though it does mean cleaning the button without opening the stick could be a plus.

    Main concern for the video is, how can you have a "best button?" Comparison video, and not include crown 202s at all??? That's kind of crazy. But between the plunger cap connection to the stem, and the fact that you cant put in cherry MX's in them, it's 3rd or 4th tier option at the very best.

    • @MrSujano
      @MrSujano  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I never said they were the best! I didn't include Crowns as it wasn't a microswitch showdown, just an overview of the Gravity. I'll compare them to Crowns in another video :)

    • @matthewdefrancis7679
      @matthewdefrancis7679 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MrSujano oh no, I didn't mean you suggested they were the best. I didn't type it out clearly. I meant, if we have an "is this the best button? - Side by side with other buttons" type video, I feel like crowns should 100% make an appearance, if that makes sense. It's like if we had, "Aprilia rsv4, is it the best Italian super vehicle you can get?" And we mentioned in comparison Ducati and Ferrari, but just didn't mention Lamborghini as a product at all. It's like wait, what? Arguably its main competition isn't even mentioned? Just seems odd. -that said, don't take this as me shitting on the vid, it presented a ton a great info. That was just something that jumped out to me is all.

    If they are using Omron switches I highly doubt they'll last anywhere near 70mil activations. Omron is the standard brand for gaming mice, and they are very known for becoming faulty and giving double/triple clicks after only a year or two. Here's hoping Quanba decide to make the change from Omron in future and go with Kailh or some other notable micro switch in future.
