I don't personally love the color, but as you said it is only noticeable in direct sunlight, but man it look comfortable AF! and I really dig the sewings and the overall design!
And as long as you love it, to hell with what others think about it!
    Thanks for the vid!

It looks great ! I like the Gunfighter rear. Unlike some of the comments if I didn’t like it. What would be the point to ridicule your choice?🤷🏼

I saw that part about the seat storage. In relation to that. What would happen if you remove the metal piece that would require it to attach to the fender? That way you can access the storage. Or would that result in the seat being wobbly?

Another TH-camr had the same seat on his. It scratched the paint on his rear fender badly. Keep an eye out for that. Hope it works for you. :)

No scratches so far! I just took the seat off this weekend to add in a charging cable for my phone and all looks good underneath.

Debating on this seat but I do have a passenger from time to time. Any experience with passengers on this seat?

How is it for a passenger?

They might have been confused talking to you... Corbin has another seat also for the 1100 that doesn't bolt on and just pops on and off like the stock seat.

Does it change the seat height?

    • @moldylocks7138
      @moldylocks7138  ปีที่แล้ว

I believe it does, but only about an inch, maybe an inch and a half. On a bike that's already this low it doesn't make too much of a difference.

@@moldylocks7138 When you say it changes the seat height by an inch or so, do you mean it's higher or lower by an inch? I'm short (5'4"), so adding an inch wouldn't be ideal for me. BTW, bike looks beautiful! I put a deposit down for one; hopefully I'll have mine by the end of the month.

I believe this seat lowers the seat height slightly

Man I’m sorry but that just looks butt ugly, I don’t get that rear part. The rider part looks good

Different strokes for different folks! My fiancée would agree with you Dray. I don't mind it, but what I really like is the low back support.

I think it looks better with someone on it than by itself. But I really don't care how it looks anyways, I never see it when I'm riding! That scooped section with all the back support is amazing though. This seat holds me on this bike better than anything else I've ever ridden. It feels as secure as the back seat on a goldwing.

Back in "the day", motorcycle road racers had humps (as on the GunFighter seat) on their seats to push against while in a tuck (head and shoulders tucked in, against the tank) and to reduce wind resistance. So yeah it does have something to do with the rider's butt; ugly or not. Today, road racers have a hump built into their leathers for cutting wind resistance. The hump on cafe racer style bikes is "homage" to racing history and to some extent, posturing (like silver cockles and leather fringe on a Harley is homage to, uh iron horses). I don't carry a passenger and happen to like the style even though Rebel motorcycles have no racing heritage -- at least none where wind resistance is a consideration (slow racing is still racing).😀

It’s because of the color, it doesn’t match the Bike color… the all black gunfighter seat looks badass.
