I love the way you do your voice overs. It is clear you are speaking during the original footage but then you also give us clear clean audio voice over. Best of both worlds! Adorable quilts!
For me you have been the best teacher. You take the stress out of the process. You make it all joyful . I cant say enough how helpful you have been. Your are so positive. You simplify and explain each step. You make it easy and so fun. Thank you!
What an awesome idea! My 7 yr old granddaughter will be up this afternoon to open Christmas gifts. I bought her a very basic sewing machine and once she gets the hang of operating it, I think I'll introduce her to this idea. Mistakes will appear to be done on purpose so, there's success in it!
Your ideas are soooo great!! You have developed creativity to a high degree and are so generous to share with others. I totally admire your proficiency and productivity. I get energized with each video you post.
I love this and I love every tutorial you have ever made. I can’t wait for your next tutorial every time I finish one. Your voice is soothing and you are an extremely inspirational instructor. I do believe this style is similar to what was called “ticker tape” quilt, many years ago. I struggle with anything that isn’t an organized scrappy. So I especially love your tutorials when it’s the organized scrappy kind. Keep up these great tutorials. I’m quite elderly and you inspire me and motivate me. I quilt every day.
Ok i think i need to add this to my "quilts to make list" asap! Its just gorgeous! It would be such a great throw quilt for a couch and so cozy as a bed quilt!
Have never seen this done. Definitely on my to do list. Thanks for your easy instructions to make it. My granddaughters would love to have doll quilts made this way & would be fun to have them help.
I love this idea, it's so creative. And can be made in so many different shapes. colors, and styles of fabric. Worth saving fabric scraps for just this project alone. Thank you thank you. Looking forward to more of your videos.❤
I got a couple inexpensive white terry cloth bath towels to throw in with the color catchers. They help with the color catchers. I use white so easier to see how much runoff absorbed and you can always bleach the towels later for the next quilt.
I think the crumb quilts are beautiful! I can't wait to make a few, but I wouldn't make them for a baby, I am concerned the fraying might choke them. Babies chew on everything. Love all your quilts, videos, and tips and tricks. 😊
I hear you! That is why it is important to wash them several times until the threads stop coming off. There really is nothing to choke on after they are frayed. So - they have been happily used on many a baby.
“I don’t have a baby so I have to use a bear” 😂 Another wonderful video and project, loved it!! I bet this would be really effective on a black background too, like easy stained glass.
Hello neighbor!! I showed this video to my little granddaughter yesterday. And she already has one all pieced and put on fabric. It looks fab!! I wish I could send you a picture:-). I’ll go to your website and see if I can send it via email. Thanks again for a special fun project even kiddos can do.
I really like this idea!! I've made some crumb quilts but never like this: I can't wait to get one started like this. What size were those quilts ? Thanks so much for sharing.
You can do the quilts any size you want them. The doll quilt was around 25 inches..... The baby quilt? I can't remember. Baby quilt size. You can choose.
This is beautiful. However, I wonder... I'm not a big fan of raw edge applique, so I wonder if, instead of a straight seam around each crumb, you (or I) could do a fairly tight zigzag stitch. Something to ponder. But these quilts are beauties. 🙂
I love the way you do your voice overs. It is clear you are speaking during the original footage but then you also give us clear clean audio voice over. Best of both worlds! Adorable quilts!
You are right. I teach while filming - so that I can voice over teach later.
Yes!! I second this!
For me you have been the best teacher. You take the stress out of the process. You make it all joyful . I cant say enough how helpful you have been. Your are so positive. You simplify and explain each step. You make it easy and so fun. Thank you!
Yes, I like that, too!
Honestly, I never liked scrap quilts till I saw yours. I guess I need to learn string quilt techniques.
Thanks for sharing your talent ❤
I am so glad you're giving it a try!
Its beautiful...reminds me of stained glass love your channel
Yes - we talked about "stained glass" for one of the names. You can name yours that!! Fun.
That is so sweet! I bet she'll love it.
👍🏼 This would make a great decorative addition on a tote bag, pillow top, or garment, like a denim jacket.
Smart ideas!!
Your ideas are soooo great!! You have developed creativity to a high degree and are so generous to share with others. I totally admire your proficiency and productivity. I get energized with each video you post.
You are always so kind with your comments!
This looks like so much fun!! I can see how pretty they come out and I don't like waste !!!! Thank YOU !!!
Thanks for watching. It's really fun to use all those scraps.
Crumble Stone , I love that kind of sidewalk
Me too!!
I'm wondering how this would look done on a black background? Yes. Both of your quilts are beautiful.
I have done it on a black background. GORGEOUS!
Gorgeous - Especially when using jewel tones...
Good Morning, Kindred Spirit!!! With your videos, I know that I'm not alone in loving crumbs! Have a wonderful day. Hugs from Canada.
You are for sure, not alone! Happy Quilting!

What a fun way to use crumbs....will have to try it!
You won't want to stop...
Have never seen this done. Definitely on my to do list. Thanks for your easy instructions to make it. My granddaughters would love to have doll quilts made this way & would be fun to have them help.

I LOVE crumbs. For sure you are right.
I’ve made these with just rectangles and squares , but I like this one with the odd shapes.
Yes - the odd shapes add an "art" effect.
This looks like stained glass! How incredibly talented you are. I look forward to your videos and what I will learn next! Thank you 😊
Thank you. It is such a fun way to use all those little pieces!
So pretty and beautifully effective😍💜💙

I love this idea! Thank you
It's amazing fun.
What a fun idea!! I love the look of it and I'm not one for rough edges. But I do love crumbs!
It has a certain "appeal" for sure!
I got a couple inexpensive white terry cloth bath towels to throw in with the color catchers. They help with the color catchers. I use white so easier to see how much runoff absorbed and you can always bleach the towels later for the next quilt.
Thanks for sharing. Sounds smart.
So pretty! I recently made a blues string quilt so I'll have to try this with all the cut edge leftovers:)

Reminds of beach glass
I love that!!
WOW, how fun this would be!!!
Now it’s on my wannado list! What size was your background fabric?
Thank you so much 🥰❤️😀
You can make the background fabric however big you want your quilt to be. Baby quilt size. Throw. Doll quilt. Or even a table runner. Any size works.
I use the used color catchers for scrappy foundation piecing.
Smart!
I love these. They are so pretty. I'm wondering if you could use the basting spray instead of the glue. What do you think?
Basting spray isn't a product I use. So I really don't know. I have used pins.

I love raw edge applique. However, if you don't - I vote you try the zig zag and see if you like it!! Yep. It's all an adventure~!
"I don't have a baby,so I used a bear". That made me laugh. Loce the results.
Thank you!! Babies ARE best! Tee hee...
I think crumb quilts are becoming a thing nowadays!
My last 3 have been scraps and crumbs!
